ADDITIONAL BAD EXPERIENCE
On 7/10/24 at 8:30 pm, I ordered a Big Mac with 5 extra sauces. This location/owner charges $.25 per sauce, so it was an additional $1.25 for these sauces. Besides the fact that this franchise owner is cheap, his employees are just as mean and uncaring. They didn’t put ANY sauces in the bag. They informed me that there was no garlic sauce available, so I asked for a refund. This was so annoying to the manager that she practically threw the quarter at me. She didn’t do a refund, she gave me a physical quarter. She was visibly annoyed. However, they never addressed the 4 additional missing sauces = $1.00. When the manager came back to talk to me she just said “It’s a quarter. Ma’am, the sauce is a quarter I gave you a quarter!!” I said no, I wasn’t waiting to complain about the sauce costing a quarter and drove off - it was intimidating. She treated me like I’m the dumbest person in the world wasting her time. I drove off without the sauces and ended up with a crying child who is so upset with me.
This franchise CHARGES for extra sauces. That means the employees need to take extra care to check and make sure they’re in the bag. I’m out not only $1.00, but $1.075 because I have to PAY 6% TAX on the sauce. This is a franchise that won’t even give an extra REFILL. It’s so petty I can’t even and the employees are unhappy and stressed.
Not only that, they gave me a Coke instead of a Diet Coke. I wasn’t even going to complain about that. But being mad at ME for wanting a refund for a product that I paid for and not paying attention to the items I paid for… and then getting aggressive with me? That’s over the top. You’re nickel and diming me - I have a right to nickel and dime you right back. You stole $1.08 from me tonight. Your store is ratchet.
This McDonald’s has always been suspect because the one up the road always has better tasting fries, but when we found out the fountain drink machine was turned off and there was a big sign that says “no refills” that was it for me. You run a McDonald’s. There’s a McDonald’s every 1.5 miles. Soda costs pennies on the dollar. You make a ton of profit selling us $2 sodas with 10 cents worth of product. Now we can’t even top off our sodas if we dine in. What percent of you customers actually dine in? Most go through the drive thru, so they can’t get a refill anyway. How much money does this actually save you by denying refills? Is it worth losing customers? Your fries were lukewarm and unsalted again. It just feels like the owner has a chip on their shoulder and doesn’t like their customers. Why be loyal to you when you don’t...
Read moreAfter living in the city for awhile & going to different McDonald's in the city over the years, this place is like a dream come true. I have sat in a drive thru line in the city with like maybe 5 cars & 1 car would move forward like every 7 mins. It made no sense, since the inside was closed. And not only are the waits insanely long in the city, but EVERY employee is not only rude but incompetent (maybe 5% of the employees in the city are pleasant, kind to customers and get the orders right... the other 95% are terribly rude, act like you are interrupting them & impeding on their personal time by placing an order, & have trouble getting a very simple order correctly). But here, the drive thru line could be 30 cars line & it still moves quickly! They get the order the 1st time you say it, & it comes out of the window correctly. And every employee I have dealt with is polite, professional & friendly. The McDonalds' in the city really need to be re-trained by whoever trained the employees as this branch. This place is how a McDonalds should be... fast food with friendly & fast service... not rude ppl acting like u just walked thru their front door while they were off work & watching TV, & irritated with you for ordering food (the entire reason this place exists & the entirety of an employees job... to take orders at least in a non-irritated tone, to not ask you to repeat yourself a million times yet you still see the order on the screen is incorrect so you must repeat it AGAIN which only makes them even more rude to u, then when u finally get up to the window after 20+ mins with only a few cars in front of u, ur order is still somehow wrong & practically thrown at u through the window). This place does what it should do, therefore easily deserves the highest rating u can give... the order is taken by a friendly person, it is not asked to be repeated, it is correct on the screen, the line moves quite quickly, and you get your food by other friendly employee & each item in the bag is correct. It's really not a hard thing to do, which is why it amazes me that the ones in the city are so awful while the employees in the county of the exact same franchise can do it exactly how it should be done, & they do it...
Read moreI was pepper sprayed at a bar the night before and left my phone in the Lyft that took me home. The driver of the Lyft had confirmed they had my phone but I couldn't coordinate with them well over the app. I looked at my timelines and my phone showed me every place this guy was driving. It said he went to the McDonald's here a lot in 2 days. Said he spent 6 hours there at one point.
I assumed by that, he worked there in addition to being a Lyft driver...
I drove to the location and as I walked in to start asking for the driver by the (likely) fake name on their profile, a person wearing the uniform is walking out with a bag or something in their hand. I asked "is Isaac working today?" Cause the app said he was still there. The employee looked confused and said "I don't know... I don't know any Isaac that works here..."
I said "no problem"
I went in and a lady came out and I asked for an employee who goes by Isaac and drives a particular car. They said they didn't know anyone by that name that was working; she would check with the manager. The manager comes out and is like "what do you need?" I explained that I left my phone in the car of this person and I was just checking if they worked here... the people in the back came out and were amused but otherwise unaffected and not the person I was looking for. The manager worked hard to understand the logic and reason for my visit. We eventually got on the same page and they confirmed that the individual I was looking for simply eats there a lot of meals.
I did not order anything so the food rating is based on the fact that McDonald's is one of the most consistent establishments on the planet with...
