Ordered curbside online and arrived for my order. When I get there I noticed there were a few pick up order parking spaces. However, they were taken. There were 3 cars parked on the curb and I parked behind the 3 cars in front of me. Those patrons all get there orders and drive away. My order was supposed to be ready by 10:50AM. So I go inside to see if my order was ready. I looked in the area where all the orders were but my order was not ready yet so I stood off to the side. I notice a older lady who walks over to put food in th area where the other orders were placed. She looked at me and walked away. I continue to wait patiently for the order to be ready.
5 minutes or so passes and the same lady walks back over to me and says in a loud voice is that your big black truck parked out front. I said yes ma'am it is. So she rolls her eyes and says people are complaining about you parking there you need to move it. I said ma'am. "No problem I can move my truck but you're being rude and I don't like your tone. Here I am standing waiting for my order instead of you asking me do I need help you start raising your voice saying someone is complaining and I need to move my truck. There were 3 other cars in front of mine but I didnt hear you ask them to move their truck. My order was supposed to be ready at 10:50AM and its after 11 and I still have no order." I also went back outside and moved my truck into a parking space in the midst of this debacle.
She says in a loud tone: "What is your name?" I gave her my name and say I ordered online so it's under my email address. She then goes back at the counter and says she doesn't see my order. I open my cell phone and she comes near my phone attempting to scroll my screen as to read it. So I read off to her what I ordered and I stepped closer to see what was written on the bags on the counter. I said ma'am that is my order. She says I need an order number so I'm still being patient and I tell her she needs to stop talking to me like that bc I'm a grown man and ask is there someone else who can help me. She says oh you want to talk to my manager. I actually didn't want to talk to the manager I only wanted my order. But after she continued to be rude i did speak with the manager. He seem like a great guy. He said he would have a talk with her and that she should not have acted the way she did. I appreciate him listening but I truly hope that he talks with her bc she is needs to be counseled. Long story short. Panera bread please look into the behavior of this lady. Staff should always maintain professionalism and know how to treat people...
Read moreI was at this Panera Bread today with a friend and when we enter the store we stood near the front where the bakery was because we were not sure where to place our orders. We stood there for a few minutes and no one even acknowledged us, until finally we asked one of the employees to speak to the manager since it seems as if there was no one available to take our orders. Roxanne the manager ( not sure if that’s her name, but that was the name on my receipt) came to the front of the store and told I her what I wanted to order and she looked confused; I explained the situation and she told me that orders was taken towards the back of the store, than she goes to that area and takes our orders. The first thing she should had done as a manager was to introduce herself, because I honestly thought that she came to the front of the store to take our orders. Roxanne also told us that they could not see us standing at the bakery, however I told her that we were able to see them. She didn’t asked for my name or tell me when my order was ready she just sat it on the counter and didn’t say anything. I understand that we were standing in the wrong place, however since Roxanne did eventually take our orders all she had to do was to say if you go to the next register I would be glad to help you. This was very bad customer service, I found her attitude to be rude and very condescending. We didn’t know where to place our orders and it seems like none of the employees knew either, they just looked at us. On our way out of the store one of the customers said to us, don’t feel bad because he did the same thing. Since we were not made to feel welcome at this location we will not be returning, this behavior is unacceptable and I will definitely follow up with their corporate office so that other customers are not made to...
Read moreToo crowded every time I tried to be here. But I recently got to enjoy being here without waiting in line at all. It was pretty quiet. So I was happy to order some bagels.
Yet this person behind the counter didn't seem to care much about her customers. She would just put a huge bag of bagels in your hands, knowing that you're holding a hot cup of coffee. You've tried to refuse by being slow to receive the bag, but she wouldn't stop putting it on you until you spill some coffee on your hands. This didn't happened to me. But it happened to another customer in line. Believe it or not, the person behind the counter didn't even apologize to the poor customer; she didn't seem to care at all.
And she didn't do a good job taking my order either. The person who was actually getting my bagels made me repeat myself 2-3 times as if he's newly taking my order. I already told the other lady behind the counter the specifics (e.g., have all my bagels sliced, which cream cheese I want, etc.). I couldn't understand why I needed to repeat my order to someone else.
Then I realized that many people are waiting in line. No wonder fast service can't be achieved without being able to take order...
