Our family was not satisfied with today's mcdonald experience because not only did we receive incorrect food items but were insulted in Spanish at the drive through. We understand mistakes in orders, there are so many of us coming in at the same time, however, if there is a mistake there should be an action taken immediately when notified. First of all, when we pulled up to pay for the order the employee who was assigned to take peoples credit card was speaking to another employee at the window, complaining in Spanish about how she has to be outside doing her job. They must not have known that we understand Spanish because as soon as we were pulling up to the next window to receive food, she called my husband a "pendejo" upon giving him the card. That is not acceptable! After, we pull to the second window the women giving us our food hands us the wrong drink. We received two mango smoothies and one was supposed to be strawberry, easy mistake fill another cup?! However, she stated this is what is on the receipt, said sorry and expected us to just leave. This is when I started checking our items to make sure nothing else was missing, and noticed we didn't receive the drink for our son's happy meal and were given an extra drink, coke which we did not order. All that had to be adjusted was a strawberry smoothie and hand us the apple juice for our kids meal. It could of all been avoided, my husband having to come inside the restaurant during covid19 to correct a mistake. The order mistake is not the issue, it is the employee who thought that she was safe to insult our family during our drive through experience. This I do not appreciate nor will allow to go by. We all chose our jobs, do it with a smile. I do not need to be insulted when getting my food. Please fix this issue with your lazy employees. Also please note, no one else was rude to us. When my husband stepped inside to regulate his order, the staff inside was kind and understanding. Just one rotten apple made it now impossible to return back to your restaurant because I do not want HATE in my food. You don't like your job, keep it to yourself or find one that brings you joy. Read moreThe woman taking our order was pleasant, no issue aside from ringing up two mango smoothies instead of one mango and one strawberry, No biggie. It went south once we pulled up to the first window, and the woman standing outside the window is cursing in Spanish while venting to her coworker over the fact that she has to stand outside in the heat and look at people while taking their cards.(Which is sort of understandable since her coworker literally takes the card from her to swipe, it doesn't actually make sense for her to be there.) Her coworker stared at us with a blank expression as if hoping we couldn't understand their conversation, she even warned her that she thought we were listening,(we were) and the woman proceeded to wave her hand at us in a dismissive gesture and called me a pendejo after she returned my card. That's messed up considering we look African-American so she assumed we were not Spanish speaking people.
To top it off, they put the wrong items in my order, and I had to go back inside to return the large Coke and mango smoothie, in exchange for the strawberry smoothie and apple juice that was supposed to come with the kids meal we ordered. Read moreI have been going to this McDonald’s mostly my entire life growing up in the area, but lately the management and employees have been terrible and lacking from what I noticed. This McDonald’s was always my favorite because of the good service and atmosphere that the employees brought and showed, but lately I’m not so sure anymore. Every time when I come in to order they somehow take longer with my food or they just seem to forget about my order which is weird to me because it was never like this before. Example, I came in one time to order a large sweet Tea and somehow it literally took them 8 minutes to get me my sweet tea while other customers that order after me got their food first which is CRAZY!! Another example is when I came in another time they ignored me while I was standing at the front counter for 5 minutes until they finally took my order and I’ve seen them do this to other people as well. Me personally I feel like the employees at this McDonald’s give terrible service to people who they might not like or have something against them. All customers should be treated with kind and wonderful service because that’s how they show that they care to their customers experience.
