El Gran Pollo Timonium — Restaurant in Maryland

Was really excited to eat here because Im familiar with this restaurant at other locations but I won’t be coming back. Bad customer service is a big turn off. After I ordered they asked me if I want sauce I said Yes the Green one. They asked me 2 more times and even asked my boyfriend. We kept saying “The green sauce”. Get home, no sauce.

When I called they didn’t really care. I went all the way back to get it because the chicken is pretty underwhelming without the sauce. So wasted gas and time in the rain. Remind me to just cook and stop giving these restaurants money. People aren’t running their businesses the way they used to.

Also I think if your employee can’t understand English well enough to understand the answer to their own questions, you should not place them in a customer...

New staff is rude, dismissive and aggressive! I ordered half chicken no sides. At check out, the lady says its $12 and change and I was oh is that the price for the chicken with two sides or without the sides, she checks the system and says it doesn't make a difference, the price is $12 and change, am like ok in that case, I'll get sides then. I order the sides and she rings me and says its $17.95 am like how?!! I literally asked twice if the price changes. I complain about and she's like that's not what I said and practically shoves...

Perfect place to quickly grab a healthy meal for a family of 4 that includes vegetables my kids will actually eat! We usually do a whole chicken which comes with two large sides and is about $30. Plenty for dinner and even some leftovers usually. Lucky to have this place so close. For the amount of food you get, the value is great.
