Employees do NOT understand allergies! Called and asked if chicken had tomatoes or dairy. Two employees did not feel they could tell me whether it did or not. Told to wait for a call back from manager in one hour. That NEVER came. Called and eventually got in contact with the owner.
We didn't end up eating there (cannot risk it with severe allergies for my son).
Hours later I called and eventually got in contact with the owner. At this point I am not trying to pursue an answer for my specific questions, but trying to help him understand that his staff failed a simple, but life-or-death, task. He was absolutely not interested. He could care less.
When I asked him if anyone on his staff was trained in allergies he said that there was someone, but they were too busy to answer me. He even chuckled when I said "so people with disabilities aren't worth your time?". It's also worth pointing out that his staff did not say this, they said the manager, a person who wasn't there, was the only person who could answer me. He did say that the menu has allergy information, but was uninterested when I pointed out that my sons allergies are often not required to be marked on menus etc, so we would have to ask no matter what.
My son is 6, and has had many allergies, some of them life threatening, his entire life. We are very used to having to ask questions of restaurants, and we have seen a wide variety in the quality of response... But this is the worst we've faced.
The owner shared no remorse, did not empathize, and certainly did not present a plan to improve his restaurant. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES OR DOETARY...
   Read moreHello,
Iâve ordered from this location through DoorDash twice and have also visited in person beforeâeach time having a great experience. Unfortunately, tonight was very different.
I arrived around 10:40 p.m., and since the store closes at 11 p.m., I expected to still be able to order. I completely understand how it feels to be close to closing time, as I also work in the restaurant industry. However, if a restaurant is open until 11, guests should still be able to receive the same quality and service until that timeâunless ingredients are genuinely unavailable.
What I saw tonight was disappointing: the food looked dry and thrown together without care, and several items werenât available. I was even shorted on what I ordered. When I politely said I didnât want it and wished the staff a good night, one of the employees spoke negatively about me in Spanish, assuming I wouldnât understandâbut I did.
It was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional to be spoken about that way as a paying customer, especially after trying to be polite. For a place that usually serves such good food, this experience was really disappointing.
Thank you for taking the time to read thisâI hope itâs addressed, as Iâd like to continue...
Read moreA charcoal grilled chicken place should have great burgers, right?? WRONG! I pulled up hopeful because I had a cheesesteak from here about a year ago that wasnât too too bad. Not the greatest in the world but it passed. But the burger I took home and tried to enjoy was a disaster. When I asked if they had burgers the lady behind the counter gave a look. If I would have interpreted her look correctly at the time I would have known it was the worst thing on the menu! It was actually a double burger so the 12 bucks charge was justifiable but it was cold, there was no seasoning at all, the cheese didnât melt, the onions were huge and the lettuce was chopped up like a Cesar salad so it fell completely off the bun everywhere. I had initially thought to go to five guys (Burger King drive thru line was wrapped around the building) and I said let me try this spot real quick because they actually cooking with charcoal. sigh. Even after doctoring the burger with salt and pepper, heating it up in the microwave the monster burger still was inedible. And I ordered 2 because I had another mouth to feed! Two disaster mondo burgers...
