If you ever get off at the Bethesda Metro Station you got to check out this food truck. Trust me, do yourself a favor and stop by Pita On The Plaza. This place is an absolute gem when it comes to Mediterranean street food. The variety on the menu is impressive. From fresh and flavorful wraps to hearty bowls and satisfying platters. Service was very quick, and the staff was super friendly, even during a busy lunch hour. Most importantly, they will remember your name if you are a daily customer. It will make you feel a part of the community. The Chicken Kebab Bowl also the Chicken Kebab Platter it lived up to the hype!!! It’s tender, well-seasoned chicken, perfectly grilled vegetables, and the creamiest tzatziki sauce. The flavors were very balanced, and you can tell everything is made very fresh. The DMV Wrap on a warm burrito with steak and chicken is absolutely delicious!!!! It’s super packed with flavors and you can’t stop eating it. If you love burrito, you better try it out. 4/30/2024: I think its call the Metro Sandwich (falafel sandwich) is excellent. Pita on the Plaza was great the first time and I can now say, they are consistent. The falafel sandwich with extra hot peppers is incredible. The crowd that gathers at lunchtime is impressive and says a lot about this spot. Yum! 2/19/2024: Today was our first time trying Pita On The Plaza. Right off the bat, you get good vibes from the woman taking orders at the window (I think she is one of the owners), she knows some of the customers by name and knows their orders. Though, I am not a regular (yet), she was just as friendly and welcoming. They were busy, but the food came out quick and accurate! We ordered hummus, side of falafel, chicken, shawarma wrap, falafel wrap and baklawa. Everything was incredible! You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and the food is made with love. I can’t wait to come back to try the other menu items!

This place is delicious and authentic! Walk over and grab lunch right now 😂. Upon arrival Norma greeted me and was very friendly. After checking out the menu I knew I wanted the protein platter w/ Chicken Shawarma because it has a little of everything. It came with hummus, falafel, Greek salad, Mediterranean salad and my choice of protein was chicken shawarma. The flavors were everything I expect from each thing on my plate! I enjoyed every bite and will definitely be back!!

Wow just wow!!! Pita on the Plaza is truly a gem!! Norma, the woman handling orders is such a sweet woman! You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers experience eating there. NOW THE FOOD. The chicken pita they’ve got (Old Gtown Wrap I believe) is INSANELY DELICIOUS. I really haven’t had a chicken pita that good in a very long time. Everything from the seasoning on the chicken to the choices in sauces was on point! The falafel was fresh and delicious. The Pita is soft and has a really nice flavor as well. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else they’ve got to offer!! (If you like spicy foods, ask for some of the creamy harissa dip!!!!)
