The food has been amazing both times I've dined here and I will certainly be back. The grilled chicken quesadillas were delicious/addicting. My husband and I both tried to steal some of our kids. For an appetizer we ordered the Garnachas ahi tuna. At first we thought it was just okay, but after reaching the bottom which was lined with a spicy sweet sauce we discovered we were missing out! 100% would order it again and I also recommend they drizzle the entire order in the sauce. I ordered the Vegetarian Tlayuda Oaxaca for dinner. Its sort of like a open face Mexican pizza. See photo. It was huge. I honestly think the restaurant could cut this in half and save themselves some money and still have happy and full customers, but I'm not complaining about having left overs today. I sort of wish they would do the same with the menu. There are so many options to choose from its overwhelming, but that also because I'm managing little ones. My husband ordered the Camaron Al Chipotle. It was not bad but he was not a fan of the creamier bland sauce (more a personal preference). As a newer restaurant I think they are still learning how to handle the busy dining times and get through training their staff. Service has not been as desired. Both times there were misunderstandings with missed or incorrect items (missed salsa orders for my previous girls brunch and duplicated orders this dinner which they were happy to remove but the quesadillas were so good we told them we would pay to take them home). Overall this place is definitely worth checking out. I can't wait until they work out the kinks. The two other photos are from my girls brunch. I liked my Huevos Rancheros and the other is Breakfast tacos which 2 friends...
Read moreHola amigos! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pitaya Mexican restaurant, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and treated like family.
The food was absolutely authentic and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail and use of fresh ingredients truly made a difference. I highly recommend trying the taco de birria!
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt welcome and taken care of. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. It truly felt like I was being served by a close-knit family.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was simply beautiful. The vibrant colors, modern decor, and lively music created a lively and authentic ambiance. It's the perfect place to gather with friends and family, celebrate special occasions, or simply enjoy a delicious meal.
This place is truly a gem that deserves all the praise. Authentic food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere make it a must-visit. Trust me, you'll be treated like family from the moment you walk in....
Read moreSuper friendly staff and yummy food!
We went on a Friday night for dinner. The owner was there up front to meet customers. The staff was very accommodating to my toddler and infant, sitting us towards the back of the restaurant so we had more room.
The food may be on the pricier side, but it was very flavorful, fresh, and, most importantly, not smothered with salt like the food in many restaurants does.
I had the chicken tamale dish. The tamales were huge, the red sauce full of flavor. Hubby had the carnita dish, which he liked. My picky toddler had the nuggets and fries dish off the kids' menu. The nuggets were standard ones. What impressed me were their fries!! They were freshly fried, solid potato wedges that were flavorful and substantial! Those fries were among the best I have ever had, actually.
I had enough food from the leftover of the tamale dish to make 2 meals to share with my infant, who devoured the rice and tamales!
We will be back. I can't wait to try many of the nouveau items on their menu, including some traditional...
