Starbucks at 503 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD - This is not one of my more favorite stores... but I have been to this Starbucks location at least 1 or 2 dozen times previously because it's a convenient stop for some of my travel. On Sat. 8/30/2014 I walked in at 3:45pm (I had an appt. at 4:15pm) and ordered what I "always" order... a venti Blonde roast (pour-over). After nearly 18-20 minutes later I finally got the beverage! I had tried to get the attention of any one of the "SIX" people working there without success. Sure, they looked at me waiting but didn't say anything let alone acknowledge that they saw me waiting. Finally, the girl who took my order originally came over and asked what I was waiting for... I told her. She got a sort of "disgusted" look on her face as if I was "bothering" her. She finished my order, set the dripping, messy cup down in front of me and said: "there you go..." in a somewhat demeaning tone of voice. She quickly turned and walked away... No "I'm sorry" or any kind of response other than "there you go"? I seriously doubt I'll ever go back to THAT store ever again and I will certainly let others know about my experience there. Honestly, the entire store at that location seems to have a kind of "Dry" personality to it. I frequently visit a non-licensed location inside of a Safeway grocery store in Arnold, Maryland, and I've NEVER had to wait that long for a "pour-over" and if they do make a mistake, they certainly make it up to me! It's about one of the nicest, friendliest locations I've "Ever" been to so I'll continue to go there ! Maybe it's about time that I return my business back to the "Baltimore Coffee & Tea Co." they do a great job too! So yeah, Twitter, Facebook & every other social media forum... I'll be posting my experience on there regarding this Starbucks location at 503 Ritchie Hwy. in...
Read moreWent to this Starbucks using my GPS on Saturday, Feb. 8 at around 7pm. The store had 2 ladies and a kid in it waiting for their drinks (and they ordered a lot). It appeared that they had 2 people working the drive thru and only one working the people inside. I was waiting, and waiting and waiting for my daughter's drink. Oh, and when we ordered it, the 20 year old boy behind the counter didn't ask her her name for the cup and did NOT say thank you. A woman walked it, ordered, and got hers within 2 min! I asked the 20 year old what was going on and he said they make the drinks in the order they were received. I told him that isn't the case. Then, he told me that he hasn't even had his break yet! Really?! I could care less. He was VERY rude. Then, the other guy puts the drink down and says what it is under his breath. I said, is that mine. He looked at the cup and there was no name on it. I said, that's because he didn't ask or say thank you. The 20 year old told me to enjoy my evening. I don't recommend and the manager should re-train the staff to be customer centric...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted by the service today at the drive through. I have never used a drive through at any establishment and have never been to a Starbucks before. I stopped in the drive through by the order board assuming someone would say something and nothing happened so I continued around the corner as the line was long. Arrived at the window and was asked if I had ordered where I replied I hadn’t. The male assistant accusingly advised me I had to make the order back at the sign where I advised him I stopped there and nothing happened. He replied- they were busy. So i asked what to do next, did I have to go around again another 10 mins as the line was long again. He responded with- I should know how drive throughs work and laughed when I told him I’m not from here and I have never used one. Very difficult when I have only had my licence for 1 year even though I am old enough to be his mother. Total disrespect albeit a look towards another colleague and he got my order begrudgingly which was actually for someone else not...
