I'm still fairly new to Mexican cuisine, but I love trying out tacos. I was looking to have lunch and this Taqueria happened to be the closest. The initial reviews were good and I therefore decided to try it out.

Just as I sat, I was given an in-house menu and Chips/Salsa. Although the chips were nothing special(I think the usual pre-packaged stuff), the salsa was great! I was alone and ordered a Pollo(Chicken) taco and an Al Pastor(Pork) taco. Every taco was given with a slice of cucumber, radish and a lemon.

The Pollo was okay-ish honestly, it was just cooked chicken that I had to season with lots of hot salsa. The Al Pastor was good, but it would have been great if it was grilled further. I personally like some 'burnt bits' in my Al Pastor.

I was also craving for some cold Horchata considering it was hot af outside, but they were out. Apparently the machine is busted 😶

Overall a decent restaurant, not very expensive and would...

I Read the reviews online and I felt I should swing past to get something to eat when I walked in there were two Hispanic gentleman behind me other than that the building was empty so I went to the bar to look at the menu as the other two gentlemen look at the menu but the waiter took the other gentleman‘s order first which wasn’t a problem but the waiter went to the back an was gone for about 15 minutes , she came out with their food an I thought she would take my order next but she didn’t she stood at the bar and talked to those guys for about 20 minutes she never came to take my order No did she even look my way , this is horrible and I can’t even say what triggered it I was respectful from the door , I hope all black ppl are not treated this when they eat here but this was my first impression and I will never try their establishment again , I feel absolutely...

I've been contemplating writing this review because the staff is very nice but the quality of the food has gone down. I used to order takeout and dine in regularly until one fateful night when I ordered a burrito from them. I ordered takeout and the beef wasn't cooked, it was all pink. The manager said she will replace it but that the meat was supposed to be this way. However, I've eaten this menu item before and the meat was never like that. They made me a new burrito and I thought all was good.... until I got home and found A HAIR IN MY BURRITO! At this point it was 9pm and this would have been the third time I would have to go so I just gave up. If you guys want a quality burrito, theres a QDoba and Chipotle down the road. Yeah it wouldn't be authentic but at least you wont get undercooked meat and hair...

After living for over a decade in San Antonio, Texas, we missed our Mexican food! This place did not disappoint! Great, friendly customer service and the food was delicious! COVID-conscience as there is adequate social distancing between customers, hand sanitizers at the door and on all of the tables. Modelo, Tecate, Corona Light, Blue Moon on tap; agua frescas; TVs showing sports games. On the day I went (Tuesday), they did not have the Peruvian Chicken available...not sure what days they have it cooking. Got the Torta Cubana instead - not bad, wished there was a lot more meat, though! The flautas were melt in your mouth amazing. I'll definitely be back!
