So unprofessional, customer unfriendly, and lack of simple edict! I went online to place a large pickup order, five special rolls and three regular rolls. The link on their web to order online did nothing. I didn’t want to go through Doordash, GrubHub, etc., because I know they take a fee from the restaurant.
I called and spoke with someone I could barely understand but was able to place my order finally. I wanted to pay over the phone with a credit card because a friend was picking up the order, and I did not want them to pay. She told me I could not pay with a credit card over the phone. I mentioned that a friend was picking up the order and wanted them to avoid paying. She asked me to hold while yelling back and forth with a man I assumed was the manager. That went on for a while!
When she got back on the phone, she said again that I could not pay over the phone. I mentioned that I tried to order online through their website, but the link was not working. She said she would text me a link to order online. More yelling continued while I patiently waited on the phone. Finally, I received a text with a link. I received a “Page Not Found” error when I clicked on it. I told this to her, and again yelling back and forth with the manager started, this time louder! She then sends me the same link and asks me to try again. Same result, “Page Not Found.”
I pleaded with her again to let me pay over the phone, the yelling started again in the background, and I hung up. I then received a text from my friend that he had just arrived to pick up the food :(

Normally Sushi Q is great, all of the locations I had been to in the past served good food. I have noticed recently that the quality at this location is declining. We typically order sushi once a week, and in November we noticed that about half of the time the food was not quality, it didn't taste good, and the textures were off. Each time we got it and it was bad we thought maybe they were having a bad day, etc, making excuses for them, but when we ordered food this past week, again it was not good. The rice was really soft, soggy like and bland. It's almost like they forgot to season the rice and probably overcooked it. The sweet potato roll was the same, the texture was awful. I actually spit it out. A sweet potato roll! The fish was not fresh tasting. A lot of the rolls would not stay together. Getting the rice wrong in sushi is a cardinal sin. I'm not sure what is up with this location now, but it seems like any time they get even a little busy the food turns out awful. We are tired of gambling on whether or not our food will taste good or not. Not cool considering the price. I think we'll be eating elsewhere...

Initially, everything was timely and accurate. As time has worn on, the quality of service has dissipated significantly. Several months ago, when dining in, they completely neglected to prepare and bring out my kids food. When we asked for it, they said it would be right out, but jt didn't come out until after my wife and I had finished our entire meals. They'd been sitting there waiting, hungry, and there was nothing done to make it right. For my most recent experience, today, I placed a take out order. I ordered, was told it would be 30 minutes. I timed out everything to arrived after about 30 minutes, knowing it might be a little busy. I paid, and was then told it wasn't ready yet. When I was asked how long it would be, I told it was another 20 minutes. Again, nothing done to make it right. My young children are waiting at home for dinner.
