My recent visit to this Popeyes location was nothing short of a disaster, marked by a shocking display of unprofessionalism and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst fast-food experiences I have ever endured.
The general manager of this establishment exhibited a profound lack of class, respect, and integrity. My entire order was incorrect, yet instead of rectifying the mistake, she chose to engage in a nearly 15-minute argument at the drive-thru window, vehemently insisting she was not wrong, despite the undeniable fact that my order was, indeed, incorrect. Her logic was baffling and her demeanor utterly disrespectful.
To make matters worse, this appalling display occurred on what appeared to be a new employee's first day – a truly terrible introduction to the company's customer service standards. Even after I clearly stated my correct order, the general manager stubbornly maintained that the incorrect order was what I had requested.
When I finally requested a refund, her response was delivered with a level of rudeness and disgust that was frankly shocking: "Then give me the food back." And as I walked away and returned, she added, with equal disdain, "DRINK TOO!"
While I understand that everyone has challenging days, customer service, especially from a general manager who is the face of Popeyes, is paramount and should never be taken lightly. This individual's behavior was a direct reflection of poor leadership and a complete failure to uphold basic customer service principles.
I will gladly drive all the way to Odenton before I ever consider stepping foot in this particular Popeyes again. This location needs a serious overhaul in management and customer...
Read moreThis business is a franchise that hires mostly family so beware you will not get the typical Popeyes experience you are expecting. This has to be the worst Popeyes ever smh. First, the customer service is crazy because its only about one person that works there that speaks English, making communication terrible. Second, the lines are long and orders never right. But the worst thing is that my 16 year old son worked there for three weeks and they refuse to give him a paycheck unless I supply them with his social security card and ID, problem is that I already gave them his passport and if your run a business you should be able to understand I9 instructions say that if an employee gives you a document from column A,such as passport, they don't need any other document, you only need two documents if you are using documents from column B or C. Also, they lost my son's original social security information I gave them, and they have employees personal information laying around for all eyes to see. I even supplied them with his social security number again but they still want a copy of the SSC card and ID smh has me feeling uncomfortable like my son is about to be a victim of identity theft. I am filing a complaint with Maryland...
Read moreTerrible. Woman taking my order was rushing me, didn't have half of the things I asked for, and got so frustrated had me pull around to the window. Didn't have the frozen lemonade that she actually rang up, the machine is "ughh". Got my meal pulled off. The sauces that were actually available (most were not).. So hot sauce packets and parmesean garlic are missing). Went back, the lobby is closed. Around to the drive through and she gives me a bag, it felt light, because it was just hot sauce packets. Beyond frustrated I left. As I was shifting the food around I noticed how hot one chicken sandwich felt, and the other did not. The red beans and rice were not out in the bag. I get home and open the spicy chicken sandwich, it was not even like warm. Cheese was all stiff and dried out, and of course it had pickles on it. Don't know how long this was sitting, but it wasn't a few minutes.. I hate those pickles, still too much cucumber flavor for me. Even if they just took them off, I'd be less irritated. And the sauce is all caked up.
I'm not used to five star service from Popeyes, but this was definitely the worst I've encountered.
Hard pass on this location. Free food wouldn't get me back...
