I go to Taco Bell in Edgewater Maryland, order online and it goes to the wrong restaurant, all the way in Gambrills, on Rt. 3. Neither restaurant is able to help me, give me a refund. They say to call app support. App support is closed for 2 days. They can’t just put a freakin cancel o. The app that stays there until you pick up your order. Unbelievable. McDonald’s sends orders to the location you are located and cancels automatically if you don’t pick up. This is unbelievable! I can’t afford to waste money and give them free money! Taco Bell is stealing my money! And the one in edgewater couldn’t just make the order, as often as I eat there? I’m done with TacoBell! I want my money NOW AND I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS AND HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE! The app is too much troulble and I can’t afford it anymore without app deals. I don’t want to waste my weekends and time off work dealing with this crap nor do I have the money to deal with it! TACO BELL SUCKS! Don’t eat there anymore! It’s longer worth it and I was a long time regular customer! Not anymore!
Update: Taco Bell, do you want t to explain to me why this deal never works at Edgewater MD Taco Bell or Gambrills, MD Taco Bell!!!! What kind of a business do you run where you don’t honor your deals? I did everything exactly the way it said to and it wouldn’t give me the freaking deal!!! Your company is full of crap and doesn’t honor it deals. Read moreI usually stop here late at night after work. Last night the guy the drive thru was completely rude. The last 3 times I’ve come I’ve gotten the same young man and he’s always very unpleasant. First thing he says over the intercom is “WE DONT HAVE FRIES!” I said that’s fine I wasn’t looking to get fries. I asked if they had nachos still and he says in a very sarcastic tone “ of course we have nachos, what do you want?! “. I then asked for the cantina burrito box as he says “WE DONT HAVE THE BOX!” I said that’s fine can I please just get the items without the cardboard box, you can just put it in the bag. He scoffs and just says “pull up” still with a bad attitude. I check my receipt and he didn’t charge me for the box but for each individual item that comes in the box. He didn’t even put the right items in the bag and when I asked him to please correct it he yanked the bag out of my hand and stormed off. I have never left a bad review before as I work in the food industry as a manager for a restaurant. I understand we all have bad days and I’m understanding but as I stated above this isn’t the first time and if I had someone like this working in my store I would want to know to correct this issue. Read moreWhile a fan of Taco Bell overall, this particular location continues to struggle with timely service, continuously ranging from quick to painfully slow. And depending who is working that day, chances are good you will have at least one item made incorrectly that you special ordered. Overall though the staff is friendly though and we never regret choosing it for a fast food meal.
Update, May 2020. The quarantine has unfortunately not improved the restaurants ability to read the order screen and properly make the items ordered. Every trip through the drive through has had one or more items missing, made improperly, or substituted for completely different items that were not even ordered.
The restaurant next door has lines around the building while this one has almost none. Perhaps they could take a lesson from their neighbors. Star rating lowered.
Updated 7/2025. The staff here has greatly improved and for the most part get the order right every time. It's a marked improvement. The biggest issue now is costs. This location is a full 25%-30% higher for the same menu items than the one right up the street in Millersville. There does not seem to be any justification for the increased costs here other than higher profit margins, and are higher than other locations when travelling so it's not just the one location...
