Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Maryland

I'm not a big fan of chicken on the bone a lot of times I find it very greasy so I usually just ate chicken when I would go fishing for a day or two because it was convenient and after it was chilled it didn't seem so greasy but it was there somewhere so I been hearing all this commotion on the news media and from people talking about Popeye's Chicken sandwich was supposed to be the bomb I always thought that Chick-fil-A was the the number one chicken sandwich which btw I did enjoy that sandwich so I wanted to go see what all the hype was about when I got there they had a sign on the door saying no chicken sandwiches for three months I had to go in and talk and figure out what was going on with a chicken sandwich I asked them how a chicken resturant could run out of chicken sandwiches I was told it was the breading which they were out of the nice lady behind the counter informed me that when they did have the sandwiches people wouldn't just by one or two they were buying up to ten at a time people were standing outside to get a hold of chicken sandwich they even had some fighting going on when they were starting to run out of the sandwiches so I said I will try some of their chicken on the bone I took it to go when I got home and started to eat my dinner I was pleasantly surprised this chicken was not greasy where you want to put gloves on it was fresh and flavorful I am telling you this chicken was changing my mind about chicken I was so pleased I went back the next day and bought more and a gallon of there sweet tea which was the real deal so I will wait for the chicken sandwiches to come back but I don't think I will be standing in no line for one I would of gave it five star's but the place is a little rough or dated inside they been worrying about those chicken sandwiches instead of keeping...

Everytime I come here the employees act slow and ignorant. They talk to their coworkers while you’re ordering. The other day I experienced the most annoying time there. On October 20th 2018 @ 7:19 I ordered 3 mild tenders with a biscuit and a side. The cashier had locs and didn’t say thank you or anything to me. Secondly, I get my food. It was hot to say the least, but then I open up my box and the chicken skin is WHITE. You can clearly tell it’s not done. All of the other chicken they served was brown/tan as it should be. So, i bring it back up to the front and luckily a woman with gold/blonde hair helped me. She was nice. I told her what was wrong. That’s when a white guy who’s a cook & has a mustache on his top lip came out from the back and grabbed the tenders, Rips it open and loudly says “It is done!” I sit there and say no it’s not. Then he goes on to say it’s just not crispy. NO, none of the other chicken is like that so why would you serve it to me? It was white on the outside and soggy. I’m not sure what type of management this Popeyes is under but it surely is a disgrace. Anyway, after The nice lady tells me my new food is ready, I take it back to my table to eat and the chicken tasted pretty disgusting. I can’t even describe what it tasted like but it was definitely off. My friend even took a bite when she was sitting down with me too and said it does taste nasty. I’ve ate Popeyes plenty of times at other locations, including this one and my food has never tasted so foul. The fries were the only good part of my meal. They handled my food so poorly i didn’t even bother to go back up to the counter where the guy in the blue shirt and the guy with locs were being very disrespectful and acting like they didn’t care. If I could rate them zero Stars I would. This location is horrible. I have always had issues with them being slow or some items in my order being messed up but today topped all that. I downloaded the mobile app to get some of their offers thinking it would be easier than sitting in the Drive-Thru line to place an order. I thought wrong. I placed my order with it saying it would be ready at a certain time and I showed up 10 minutes later thinking it would be sitting there getting cold so I run in to grab it and go. However I spent 20 minutes in the store with only one person in front of me, who was also frustrated with her online order being messed up. And then they "couldn't find" my order. Eventually the manager said he couldn't do anything for me and I should try to cancel the order and reorder it period this was an hour after I replaced my initial order and spending 20 minutes in the store with staff walking around like they had nothing to do. Only person I saw hustling was a cook in the back. not sure why if I had a confirmation and showed the manager the app with the right location and the fact that my order went through why he couldn't supply my food. so I had to call customer service who couldn't do anything for me over the phone ... and have to wait two days for someone to email me back about a refund. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Now my 3 yr old (who earned to pick dinner today and really wanted some fried chicken from Popeyes) and I are sitting in the wendy's line because I know we will always get great...
