Now I would absolutely love to rate 5 stars, but each time I've gone I've had a different experience. FIRST, before anyone jumps to conclusions, I will say the staff has always been incredibly, polite, welcoming, and warm-natured in all of my experiences. No qualms with the lovely people who are employed there at all. Not to mention, the atmosphere (if you go in obvi) is lovely, and the layout is super nice and open, and it doesn't feel like you're being packed in even if there's a line of people.
However, my issue solely lies with the service (at times) and the quality of the food. The food is grand, until it's not. Which I have experienced on multiple occasions. There are times when they rush an order and make mistakes, which I understand, they happen. But it should not be an almost every-time occurrence. Usually I go (mainly through Drive-thru) and I'll ask for a caniac combo, no slaw, sub extra toast, extra sauces (2+) with a lemonade. There are times I get no extra toast, or I get extra fries instead. Sometimes I don't have my extra sauces. Other times they forget 2 strips and I end up with four total (mind you Caniac should come with SIX). It is disappointing especially when you're looking forward to a good meal after a long day or whatever.
Tonight however, was one of my worst experiences. Don't get me wrong, I hate to be that customer who gets there like 2 mins before close, I understand, it's annoying. But sometimes a person gets the late-night munchies. I got there at 11:45pm, placed my order, and waited roughly 10+ mins for my order. Didn't care about the wait time because that means the food is most likely being made fresh, plus there's this thing called patience which I have unlike most. When I got my food, the staff member handing over my food was super polite. I got my order and briefly looked at it while waiting for my drink because I also ordered for my father and I wanted to make sure he got his extra toast. I pulled off once I got my lemonade and drove home.
Once I arrived and got settled, only then did I notice, they gave me 2 box combos (supposed to be one box one caniac) and my extra sauces (got 3) were missing. I was upset admittedly but brushed it off because I didn't go all the way there and back for no reason. Tf imma do? Not eat? Regardless, I started to eat and that's when I realized that the fries were hard, which is not normal, they typically have soggy soft fries which personally are my fave. Oh well, started to take a sip of my lemonade and realized it literally tastes like water with the hint of a lemon because it has ice in 2/3rds of the cup. Normally the lemonade is toe-curling. Mid this time around. But here's the kicker. I was eating my chicken and midway through my second strip I get this weird texture in my mouth. I look down and notice this little grayish/ black line in my chicken (not hair). Now reasonably, it is probably just a piece of the chicken they forgot to cut out and it easily couldn't be something indigestible. But I have autism and am weird with texture, so I immediately was turned off and my appetite was spoiled for the night.
I get that it's late and your shift may be ending and you're ready to go home, and I empathize with you because I am in the same boat most times. But orders shouldn't be rushed like this to the point where paying customers end up with dissatisfactory, half-a**ed food. Needless to say, I will probably be coming back again, just because it's a familiar food to me, but I am hoping to not have an experience like this again.
Unfortunately, I'm on my computer so I can't do images, however I did a bit of research, and the dark stuff was most likely bone marrow seeping through which is perfectly normal according to the website I used, however you may want to do your own research. Thanks for reading, have a...
Read moreThe worst experience Iâve ever encountered at a Raising Canes. This location is fairly new but I always support. This particular time I dealt with some of the worst customer service Iâve experienced. Upon receiving my order my tenders were cold. Now i wouldnât say cold as in out the freezer cold but they were warm as if they had been pre cooked and waiting for someone to order instead of the cook to order they pride themselves on. I always express hot fresh chicken from Canes and understand thatâs the standard they live by. To receive anything other than that is a let down. But thatâs not the worst part. After i tried the chicken on a piece of toast , as thatâs how i eat my canes, i realized it was not hot and fresh at all so i took my meal back to the counter and asked for a hot fresh order. I see the cook back there breaking the chicken tender in half to see or show steam coming out of the tender to show that they were hot to try to prove me wrong . Instead of just making a new order . So after they re make my order she doesnât put the extra toast i ordered on there. So when i ask for the toast she walks from the back fryer to walk to the front to tell me I ate some of the toast already so sheâs not giving me another one. She was rude and nasty and approached me so aggressively from where she was working in the back . I do not like how i was treated at this location. This was not up to Raising Canes standard and I def wanted to spread the word. I didnât want to eat there anymore so i asked for a refund. They refunded me and gave me a gift card for a box combo as goodwill. Thanks a lot for that. The public humiliation...
Read moreFirst time trying this place today with my family. The chicken tenders were crispy, juicy and fresh. My oldest & I shared a 6 piece tender meal and that was enough to fill both of us up.
I haven't encountered a coleslaw that I hate. The coleslaw here did not disappoint!
We got the unsweet ice tea and it was very refreshing and tasted delicious. It didn't taste watered down and the flavor flowed beautifully.
Customer Service is 100/10 Stars. Everyone had the best attitude, lots of smiles, everyone looked like they enjoyed what they were doing and they worked together to keep the line moving!
What got us to visit this place was my fiance and I listening to a podcast, "This Past Weekend with Theo Von" and he had the Founder of Raising Cane's, Todd Graves, on an episode and they talked about how he started the business, what he went through to get to where he's at, what motivated him the most, how he is now able to decipher who to trust in management and how he didn't lose sight of what he wanted to accomplish. Keeping everything in mind of what Todd envisioned the way he wanted his chicken finger meals to taste like, he did not disappoint us. The chicken is absolutely delicious and we will definitely come back for more of those tasty...
