Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Maryland

Very, Very disappointed !! Sunday, June 7, 2015, after a fantastic seafood dinner, decided to treat the family to Rita's. It was 9:25pm so I went online to check their closing time. Website stated 12pm - 10pm 7 days a week. As I live less than two miles from the shop, I knew I had plenty of time. Arrived at the shop at 9:30pm. Doors were locked, but I could see employees inside. I knocked on the door only to be told that they were closed. I indicated that it was not 10pm yet. An employee yelled, from the back of the shop, that they were closing early and there was nothing they could do about it. I am outraged ! Hours of operation are posted for a reason and should be followed. Won't make that...

I follow Rita’s on Facebook, they posted asking which flavors we’d like to see before they close for the season, so I requested my favorite and my dad’s favorite. When I saw that they posted having my requested flavors I freaked out and went right after work. When I got there they had just sold out of watermelon, but the AMAZING manager Kailani offered to make me a batch if I had 10 mins to spare, and she was happy to offer to do it for me!! My First time here. Ryan ( Young Female) greeted me soon as I walked in. I was having trouble deciding what I wanted. And she gave me all the options.So I told her to surprise me. Wow!
