There's a reason these places are going extinct. The food was almost all microwaved. The fish was covered in a butter sauce that was way over seasoned with Creole, and most definitely Frozen as it was wet and greasy. The rice may have been some generic Uncle Ben's pilaf blend. The fried zucchini was probably fried 2 days ago and microwaved. Nothing was crispy nothing was fresh. The food was hot and no one got sick, that's probably the only benefit here. Even the waitress acknowledged that the chicken looked unnormally bland and lack flavor even though it was coated in seasoning, offering to bring us sauce to cover the chicken with because of its unnormally dry state. While we seek to be saved by the salad bar, I was discouraged to find bruised and wilted greens, soft tomatoes, aged cucumbers, and that most of the toppings had already been mixed as though they were picked up from last night's service and stored and brought back out for this morning service. This is all occurring before peak hours after opening and with all of six other people in the restaurant ordering food. Even the older ladies that sat behind us at another table acknowledge that their soup of the day appeared to be microwaved and was unevenly hot but the cheese was not melted...
And on top of the ick that we got from the food, it seemed as though the server wanted to spend most of her time in the kitchen which made it incredibly hard in order to ask for refills or even receive our check. Then when the opportunity arose she brought the check out and pushed us to pay it over and over again while hovering over us to make sure that we were going to tip her. Thank you miss Gina.
For the most part it was quiet empty and sad. I would say it had the ambience of a sports bar, but a very sad quiet and empty one.
*Update: Ruby Tuesday's reached out in an attempt to make amendments. I responded and shared my contact information and have failed to receive any more contact from the establishment. Followed by a flood of 5 star reviews it seems as though they're content with simply covering this up. 🤷🏻♂️ And no one should ever use the excuse that they" just opened" , after all the staff is there hours ahead to prep and you should be in full operation order as soon as you are open. There just simply is no excuse. As someone who used to drop over 800 pieces of chicken before opening for breakfast I find this behavior unprofessional and inexcusable. Sorry, but that's my experience, everyone has off days...
Read moreIf you're thinking about ordering To Go/Delivery.. maybe think twice. If you aren't very hungry, and don't expect your food in a timely fashion then it will be fine. Overall customer service is lacking. Table service isn't that great either.
I have been on both sides of this as a customer, and a Dasher. To Go/Delivery orders do not take priority at all. Orders are almost never ready anywhere near when they are supposed to be.
I have been told directly by a staff member that no one cares about the To Go/Delivery orders because they aren't getting tips for it.
For those who may not know.. they also run several ghost kitchens out of their kitchen. -Wao (or Wow) Bow, Saucy Hen, Pardon My Cheesestake, Pasta Americana, and Ridiculous Burgers. They don't care about any of those orders either.
Most of the time they don't even start these orders until someone has turned up to collect it.
As a customer, I don't appreciate having to wait forever for my order because you simply just don't care about customer service.
As a Dasher, your disregard for anyone but yourselves is literally affecting my job/income. The longer you keep me hostage waiting (usually 20 minutes) for an order that should have been ready before I got there, is time you are stealing from me that I could be making a living taking other orders. You are literally messing with my livelyhood all because you're not getting a tip for those orders.. General practice is you make the orders, no matter what kind, In the order that they came in.
If your kitchen can't handle your work load on top of 5 ghost kitchens.. either get more staff or help some of those ghosts cross over into the...
Read moreWent with my wife for Valentines Day. We were greeted and seated rite away which was great. Our server was Melanie. She seemed nice. She took our drink order and also asked if we were also ready to order and we said yes. After our order it seemed forever to get our drinks. Our food arrived and looked great. This is where Melanie showed her colors. My wife and I were barely halfway thru our meals when she asked if we were gonna have desert or not. My wife said she wasn't sure just yet. Few minutes later Melanie brought our check out? We were only halfway thru our meals. This was after she asked about desert? Why bring check out that soon? Melanie proceeded every couple minutes to ask if the check was ready yet. We were still eating!!! I finished 1st. She came back again! Told her I needed to wash hands before I would pay. While in bathroom my wife said she stopped and asked again. I finally gave her my card and she was back quickly for me to sign. While looking at it to add tip in, she checked AGAIN if I was finished with it. I was clearly still writing. My wife and I are very upset that our evening out together was basically ruined and very much rushed for our servers convenience. We weren't even there an hour. While we were putting our coats on, she was texting at the bar and counting her tip money. All said an done we will be back but hopefully MELANIE WILL NOT BE OUR WAITRESS!! If she...
