Came here for the first time since we’re out-of-towners and my friend is vegan. Being from San Francisco, we’ve tried a lot of vegan foods, but this is by far is the best vegan pizza we’ve had (our server also told us they’re very strict and make sure everything vegan is 100% vegan and doesn’t touch non-vegan foods). The regular-style pizza (they also offer a thicker, square Sicilian) used a dough that was good even on its own as a crust (I don’t often feel that way), the toppings were extremely fresh (bell peppers, basil, spinach, tomatoes, etc.), and they had vegan meats, so we got the pepperoni. But by far, the vegan cheese was perfection! I don’t know what kind they use or if they make their own, but it browned just like mozzarella and had an incredible consistency. We also had the seasoned fries, which are the ones that have the reddish brown crusty bits on the outside and are so good :) Service was lovely and helpful, and we’ll definitely be back every time we visit.

Plant based / Vegan review: We just tried the Impossible Kebob, Vegan Shawarma, and the Persian Aush Soup. Everything was very tasty. The Kebob was tasty, filling, and just a great clean eat. Shawarma with the fries was something worth fighting over. It's was super tasty, better than the Kebob in my opinion. If they served the Shawarma with the rice and shirazi salad, like the Kebob, I'm sure that would be my main go to. The owner we met was super nice and accommodating. For those looking for vegan pizza, this is a spot worth looking into. Just remember they serve pizza by the slice, but for vegan pizza, it's only done by the pie. Currently they use Diaya if I'm not mistaken. The decor is modest, ample parking outside and very located within a safe neighborhood. They are next to a few gymnastics places for kids, so it's a great place to go once they strike up a good amount of hungry. I will be back very soon.

The absolute only reason to come here is if you're stranded in Rockville and keep kosher. In the middle of lunch, the wait staff started stacking the chairs on the tables and mopping...then put the chairs back down without wiping down the table.

We came in 45 minutes before closing on a weekday and were able to have a nice dinner. We had not eaten here before and were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and well presented. It was flavorful. We were served quickly and politely. For those of you unfamiliar with this restaurant they do serve more than pizza. I had a taco salad with fresh vegetables, guacamole, salsa, chili, cheese and sour cream. I thought it would be too much to eat but it was too good not to indulge. My husband had quesadillas and a bowl of chili. Again, nicely served, tasty, and good portions. The restaurant was clean and not crowded, with tables spaced for safety. The ambiance is more family style but would be OK for a casual date or couples night out. My only criticism is the hours. They open too early for lunch and close too early for dinner. The prices are reasonable and as noted the food was good. We will definitely become...
