Absolutely unacceptable experience...
I was going to wait until corporate took care of this, but this needs to be addressed and people need to know what they're getting themselves into when they go to this location. The level of rudeness and complete lack of professionalism I encountered at this Starbucks needs to be documented on a public platform.
As l approached the drive-thru on 3/14/25, I stopped my vehicle and tried to submit my mobile order. Something to note, is I made sure nobody was behind me when I did this so I didn't inconvenience other people. I just don't like to make orders online and drive at the same time. Unfortunately, the app was glitching and wouldn't load. When I reached the intercom, I politely asked the barista to give me a moment while the app finished processing. Instead of understanding, I was met with a condescending and incredibly rude tone. The barista snapped and said, "You do know that the whole point is that you have to send the order in before you get to the intercom, right?" First of all, there was a tech issue, not a case of me being unprepared. Secondly, I had my one-year-old sleeping in the backseat and wasn't about to fiddle with a malfunctioning app while driving. By the way, when I did call Starbucks after this, the introduction message stated this: "If you are calling about issues with the app and mobile order and pay, please know our technology teams are aware of the issue and are currently working on a resolution at this time you can place your order in our drive-thru and stores. We apologize for any inconvenience."
When I asked for the barista's name to report the interaction, I was flat-out refused. At the window, the second barista was visibly upset with me, despite me doing nothing wrong besides trying to get a drink I was fully ready to pay for. Again, I asked for the original barista's name and was told no. The only glimmer of decency was when the second barista, nervously handing me my drink, whispered that the way the first barista treated me "wasn't great." That alone tells me this isn't a one-off, it's likely a toxic culture being tolerated by management.
This is an excellent location, but unfortunately, it's staffed with employees who clearly do not value or understand customer service. I left feeling disrespected, dismissed, and stunned that something so simple turned into such an unpleasant experience.
Starbucks is capable of doing better. Train your staff. Teach them that basic kindness and professionalism...
Read moreMy 3 year old son and I came here to get a snack and a treat. The service we had was awful, as if we were an extreme bother.
The food was handed to me and was so piping hot, it caused me to drop everything else I was holding. My opened bag of chips spilled all over the floor. Both young male employees heard me tell my son "ouchie!", my finger was burned. We were offered no apology or even help, as my son and I cleaned the floor.
We then proceeded outside to enjoy a beautiful evening. The sandwiches were disgusting. Let's be clear - I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal, however, I was hoping it would be healthier and at least a step up from traditional fast food. I was so wrong. It was barely edible and we threw the majority away (No trashcan located outside).
We then went back inside to get dessert, and the entire food display case was empty. They had already taken it out to close up. Mind you - I had purposely checked their store hours before going, to ensure we had ample time. They didn't close until 10pm and it was only 920pm when we walked back in to get our treat.
So, even after our disgusting $15+ meal, I was willing to pay additional money for dessert. I wasn't even able to do that. No employee in sight and I wasn't about to go searching at that point. We left and took our...
Read moreTypically, I love this Starbucks but I had an annoying experience this past visit. I ordered an iced brown sugar shaken oatmilk espresso which is my go-to drink as I was running errands. When I waiting, I heard the lady (she was so nice and wonderful) tell the guy who was making my drink that he put a lot of ice in it. He proceeded to shrug and say “oh well.” Once I was handed my drink, I was shocked with literally how much ice was in it. Since I was in a rush, I did’t get the chance to ask for a new one. But since I used to work at Starbucks (funny enough, I worked at this same location) I know how the measurements work, that there are literal recipe cards all over the store, and the amount lines are printed on the shaker. Am I knit picking? Maybe. But how hard is it to just follow the rules instead of barely putting any actual espresso in the drink. It tasted gross. Furthermore, this guy’s attitude was rude and he blatantly showed he didn’t care in front of the customer. Whoever the girl was who rang me up and gave me my drink, you are awesome and super sweet! She made my visit personable which aligns with...
