In town for an event and this is by the hotel. Honesyly, yesterday was decent. Their mobile order situation is a disaster though. Today I walked in, was handed my coffee and took a swig. Ouch, coconut milk. I walk back in and point out it was almond milk. Sorry, lactose intolerant, but gotta drink something. He goes to remake it, and grabs the coconut container again. I remind him that it is almond milk. He turns to me and says that's why we made it with coconut milk, we were out, but now we have it. I stand there and credulous because it's not like you go to a restaurant and they're out of something so they just give you something else. Without asking. I let him make it, and pick the glass up and it definitely has about 2 inches of foam in a no foam order. No worries, I walk up and say just for the almond milk in, cold. I didn't have any more time to wait. He gave me a look like why, and I said I just want a full $6 coffee. Okay granted, maybe where I live, 6.5 hours away, coffee is $6.45. Here, I guess it was only $5 so as I was trying to walk away he makes the snide comment, you mean $5. I DON'T CARE, I PAID FOR MY ORDER TO BE WHAT I WANT. I ordered this on my app, I just hit reorder from my weekly order, so I did not even know the cost, but the snarky comments from employees when your order was obviously wrong is pretty much pathetic. Read moreWill never order from this Starbucks again, this location offers DoorDash so myself, and my coworkers were excited when we could order coffee and have it delivered being as we cannot leave work at any time. I placed the order and payed (this was a $40 order) we waited for almost two hours before my DoorDash delivery driver showed up, with no coffee in her hand, instead all she had was a post-it note with a phone number on it. She then informed me that Starbucks refused to make my order and that next time “I need to order from the Starbucks mobile site and not DoorDash” I was floored. Especially since I had already waited almost 2 hours. I was told I could call the store and I should be refunded my payment soon. I called multiple times, and never spoke to anyone. My money has still not been refunded. I’m curious as to why a store would offer DoorDash or any third party delivery service if they do not plan on completing the orders? I work somewhere that offers this option as well and I know that if you do not want to fulfill order through theirs apps then you can simply turn the pads off so orders cannot be placed through those apps. If they simply did not feel like making my order and this was pure laziness that wasted everyone’s time involved. Read moreI am so disappointed in this location as I used to enjoy it. The past two days I attempted to yse the drive thru. Yesterday after work the line was almost wrapped around the building and not moving after I waited five minutes. This morning I was able to quickly order and pulled around to pay and get my order. The driver of the car in front of me apparently knew the barista and they proceeded to have a lengthy chat. The driver was given her order which must have been made incorrectly and was returned to the barista. She and the driver continue their conversation as the drive thru line grew longer. After waiting for yet another five minutes I gave up my place in line to take my son to his pediatric appointment. This location proves they are very slow and inefficient. I assumed if a customers order was not ready at the window they would be asked to pull over so other customers could be served.
