I wish I could give zero stars. I stopped in with my fiancĂ©e on yesterday afternoon. We were doing some browsing in the middle of Christmas shopping at the mall. We stopped at Reeds to try on some rings and inquire about financing. The salesperson, Tara, talked us into âseeingâ what the payments could be. She assured us after us asking at least 5 times if this would be a hard pull or a soft pull. She assured us 5 times that it was a soft pull. We asked one more time and told her we were in the process of purchasing a home and could not take a hard inquiry. No sooner than 10 mins later on the car ride home, I received multiple alerts about a hard inquiry to my credit score. I could have cried I was so devastated and still am. After calling the store, I was informed that the salesperson was only âseasonalâ and gotten the processes for the soft and hard inquiries mixed up. The phone conversation while pleasant was useless as the damage had already been done. I just asked them to better train their employees so this doesnât happen to someone else. Bottom line is that I find this highly unacceptable and extremely damaging to me personally. You can not misinform potential customers of your intentions. We asked the lady multiple, multiple times and even told her why we were being cautious if this was a hard inquiry. We didnât even need to finance it.. we were just swindled as we were in a happy mood from the shopping the holiday season. They need to educate and train their associates better. What was a pleasant experience quickly turned into a nightmare. We were going to come back but would not dare step foot near that...
   Read moreI was in to Reeds at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown last week and again today, last week to purchase a chain to replace a broken one. Savannah took the time to find the right replacement, then she went above and beyond and informed me Reeds could repair my old chain. Today I picked up the repaired chain. I can't tell where the repairs were made! It's awesome! Savannah helped me salvage a $150 sterling silver chain for a fraction of that cost in a repair, and I got another chain for a terrific value.
But, even better than a great value, Savannah and all the folks there made us feel like family. We were not rushed, we took time to get to know each other better, and everyone took an interest is me and my family.
It's so refreshing not to be rushed and to be treated with such great repsect and friendliness! Will keep coming back! Thanks so much Savannah!
Update on 11/10/17 Stopped back in again today to get a heirloom ring which Reed's made extensive repairs to last year, resized. When I picked up this evening Andrea was there to greet and take care of me. She knew me the moment I came in the store and provided such a warm and friendly greeting. We chatted and talked about various things. I am so pleased with the one on one and personable folks who work at this Reed's. I always feel care for and about by this awesome and Professional group of fine folks!
11/24 Update - I was in a few days back and was also helped by another awesome sale associate named Lenny. Lenny, like all the others, made me feel like family. I truly appreciate that Reeds has such friendly and caring staff! Thanks...
   Read moreI went in about 1.5 months ago to find an engagement/wedding ring with my fiancĂ© after just getting engaged. Lenny B. was absolutely wonderful!! She welcomed us without coming and getting right in our face (as so many other sales people do). She totally let me take lead where I wanted, but offered suggestions in noting my type of interest, without trying to push my price range at all. She was personable and friendly, ready to help, and seemed to genuinely care about what I wanted/liked as a person and not just for the sake of making a sale. I didnât buy that day (went back later to another REEDS closer to home to buy one of the rings she helped me find), but I was so blown away by her service that I had to leave a review, even though itâs late.
REEDS itself is also wonderful! Wide variety, good quality, amazing sourcing for diamonds (no blood-diamonds here! Ask about sourcing processâpretty cool; GIA applied), and reasonable prices, including the optional lifetime care plan.
We didnât buy the first time we went in because we wanted to think about it and check some other options, but we quickly determined REEDS was where we wanted to buy, and went back for one of the rings we first saw with Lenny.
