Hot Topic — Local services in Halfway

Friendly staff and good clean store. I walked back in the store after some years and learned that the store changed and now has mostly female clothes and accessories, what happened to Hot Topic? Being gender neutral? hot topic, used to be one of the only stores where you could walk in and clearly see one half the store geared for guys and the other for females. When I asked the manager why there was no male clothes she informed me that they can order them but the store has mostly females. II agreed with her while looking around the store. And said, well of course, that would happen, because 75% of this store is marketed for females. Of course, you're gonna draw a lot of females in in the store when you only put female products out. Can we start having a conversation about what it means to be truly equal. I have not been able to walk into a store and buy pants in over 10...

Not the typical HT experience. Can't say that I every truly need to be told that they have a "buy 1 get 1 50% off __" sale as the sales rarely change, but I was a little sad when it wasn't immediately shouted as I entered the store. The staff that I did encounter was eager to ask if I needed assistance, to which I declined, but they did ask. Have to say that my millenial heart feels a little uneasy as every hot topic I have been to in the past few months, feels like they are on their last legs. Empty sections and very few collaborative series at once. I hope I am wrong and that I will get to continue to live my scene kid dreams each time I walk in...

I love the employees at the Hot Topic in Hagerstown. They're so nice and courteous. The only thing that I hate is that they don't open till 11. I found that out the hard way. I live over an hour away and visited one morning when the Mall opened at 10. I only stopped for a nose ring at Hot Topic and had to go to an appointment right after. So that was a little upsetting because I had to end up stopping in at another store in the mall for that. I didn't think that they would open later because every other store was open when the Mall opened so I just assumed they would be opened. Anyways, other than the hours I love the store and...
