I take my previous review back (from 1 star to 5 stars). I’ve been going here for a while. And I realized that they simply don’t have time to wipe off the tables and clean the floor. Starbucks has been asking their employees to do too many things, especially drive thru. I respect those who still smile at me in the midst of literally running around to make too many drinks. My previous review is as follows:
They may be good at taking care of their drive thru, but they don't seem to care much about the inside of the store. The tables are dirty; the floor is messy; the interior is already falling apart (e.g., one of the tiles underneath the cash register just fell off when no one kicked/touched it).
If you ask them to wipe off your table because it's so dirty that your napkins won't do, they use their wet towel and swipe it with two strokes, leaving the table completely wet. The water/chemical didn't even cover the whole table either. :(
So I regretted that I asked. No, I regretted that I came to this Starbucks and used some napkins to swipe the wet table off--for them. I know Starbucks is not like Baltimore Coffee. Starbucks is not a high-end coffee shop either. But come on! I wouldn't wanna come back if it's persistently filthy and some employees are so untrained that they don't even know how to wipe the tables off properly. The line was a little busy, but Luke made the wait and experience so worth it, would and will 100% go back. I could tell he was working hard to deliver great customer service, keep the line moving but not make the experience feel rushed. He took the time to ask about my day, listen to what I was looking for, walk me through the different menu options. I probably had too many questions, but he was just so helpful and I cannot say enough about how this interaction turned my day completely around.
