Drosophila---the common fruit fly! At this Starbucks there were plenty to be found! The pastry case was it's own petri dish! One gentleman worker was eating takeout--possibly fried rice-- right behind the counter. I realized that the work environment at this location had become very laid back because the store manager--another gentleman--was present. He did not admonish the gentleman about eating food in the workspace. Furthermore, that particular staff person had worked at Starbucks for quite some time, certainly long enough to know that his conduct was not appropriate. There was an evident decline in standards--the store was filthy and the staff was remiss. I have been coming to this location for years, and I recall a different atmosphere. I remember cleaned countertops and floors, and competent and professional baristas and managers. Please take us back to a time when your staff appeared hygienic and well-groomed, when your food handlers washed their hands more often, where civility and politeness was a requirement, and the managers of your establishment were more concerned with being leaders than...
Read moreI have been coming to this Starbucks location since 2006 and never before have I had an interaction with the baristas like my last. I informed the barista named Leah that I just made a mobile order that had extra ice added to my Frappuccino. Therefore, I would like a larger cup.. When I tried to explain that to her, She misunderstood my a comment and she acted as though she was not in a good mood. At that point she proceeded to he proceeded to get frustrated and told me that she would no longer be speaking to me. Then she walked away from me as I was still talking. I told her that she had a nasty attitude and this is a horrible way to treat your regular customers. Her response was a very curt "so".
The management at this store does not realize that it is the purchases of the regular customers that keep this store thriving as such. In the future I will not patronize this Starbucks location as much and will continue to patronize other...
Read moreI came today around 12:35 and ordered in store. The cashier took about 5 minutes to take my order as he was prepping for a back up of online orders. The manager on duty (I am assuming) was stocking merch. He didn't step in to assist his staff who were clearly behind on orders to take care of me (I was the only customer at the time). After the cashier took my order about 8-10 more customers walked in and the MOD then went on to clean the glass doors. He didn't pivot to assist the employees at all. The young lady making drinks was behind and trying to catch up with the orders and in-store orders by herself. When the manager finally stepped in to assist, he barely shook my iced matcha tea latte, leaving lots of matcha floating on top. I asked him to actually use the shaker on my drink and he did. I have never waited that long for an order at Starbucks when no other customer was actually in line. Very...
