Taco Bravo | Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar Timonium — Restaurant in Maryland

My partner and I stumbled across this restaurant today. The food was amazing and our server was equally as amazing; Our server was Nick. The drinks were strong and affordable. We went with the tacos, they were tasty! We will definitely return.

Update: My partner and I came back on a Friday 9/17 . The service was terrible. The portions was half the amount we had last time. Our server was equally terrible we didn’t not receive our chips but her other customers did. She lied and stated they have to asked for. False Nick (our server from our first time) brought out chips without request. Our server name was Briana L. Briana walked passed my partner and I several times for about 10 minutes. I finally asked her if she could find our server. She glanced around and then begrudgingly said “I’ll just take your order.” We should of left right there but our experience from last time motivated us to stay. She had a horrible attitude, she was too consumed with other patrons and her friends that came in to be served to be attentive to my partner and I. She checked on us a total of a whopping ONE time; at that time we then asked her for the check. I will never return and will instruct my family/friends that I referred here to do the same. Side note to Ms.Briana L not sure if your service was motivated by stereotypes of non tippers. But my partner and I are big on tipping 20% and more and you too what have received one if you weren’t such a terrible waitresses. SO...

We have been here once before, and although it wasn't anything stellar the food was a decent and the service was satisfactory. That was not our experience at our last visit. I'm not sure if this was an issue of not enough servers, inexperienced waitstaff, or a lack of management on site; but we were not impressed. We arrived at the restaurant about 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 13th. My wife and I were there, and we both ordered burritos. Mine was a regular burrito and my wife's was described as an open face burrito (which turned out to be basically a bowl). The biggest problem was a lack of consistent service. During the time we were there, the restaurant was less than half full. A family arrived just in front of us, ordered, received their food, ate their meal, and left before we even received our meals. After I received my burrito we waited an additional 10 to 15 minutes for my wife to receive hers. We asked to speak to the manager, but apparently there was not a manager on site. When we left I noticed that several of the tables that had been served while we were there, still required busing. I'm not sure what the issues were, but we do not plan to return. It's unfortunate too because the food was not bad tasting. Unfortunately, with the poor service we left with a bad taste...

Place is every cute presentation of food is good but I was totally disappointed. From the photos everything looks great. When I got there no one greeted me as it was my first time dining there. It was on my agenda to get there. The waiter was going in and out I finally stopped him to ask what was the procedure for seating as there was clearly a Host Hostess stand, the waiter told me just grab a menu and I could sit wherever I like. Strike 1. They serve Salsa and Chips salsa had good flavor and a little heat chips were broken up end of the bag somewhat crispy but I have had much better. I ordered first the Quacomole and chips the bowl with the Quacomole was stale and so were they chips surrounding it awful. I also ordered the ole bay wings and a fish taco. The only thing deserving of praise was the fish taco it was very crispy and good flavor. The wings looked great as you see but hard and dry the bone was brown indicator of old or frozen I ordered the classic Margherita it was very good all in all presentation good food was fair need to step up the chips situation. I will try them once more however I hope they will consider all the comments. And correct the situations mentioned. Looked like a fun place...
