Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop, Hunt Valley — Restaurant in Maryland

Ok, so this was the very first time I have ever been here. And probably my last. After searching on line for a good dessert place to eat, my lady and I decided to try here. I had a large hot chocolate which was good. My lady had a medium hot Chai tea, also good. We had seen on their web site that they have something called the Coconut Craze sundae. I asked about this and I was told no, they would not make it. No reason, just no! They had all the ingredients there but I was forced to decide on something else. We got the apple napoleon sundae. What a mistake. It was big and it looked delicious, but it wasn't. First, when you heat puff pastry in the microwave, it becomes rubbery and tough. It barely had any apple in it at all. They used this fake whipped cream substitute from a bag. Even worse than cool-whip! The cheapest they could find. The vanilla gelato was nothing special either. They did offer 24 different flavors of gelato but after seeing how filthy their display case was, I was extremely turned off. The sundae was $8.00. Large hot chocolate and medium Chai tea, the bill was over $23.00 DEFINITELY NOT worth the trip. Very disappointed. We also had a few canoli cookies, they were just mediocre. If you want a good hot chocolate, this is your place. I would not recommend...

This place makes the best coffee and I love their chocolate topped cheese cake and chocolate topped cream puffs.

Actually, I just love chocolate. In fact, I'll admit, I am indeed a choc-o-holic. This is something I struggle a lot with as I always think about it. I even carry around a bag of kit kats with me as a snack.

But that is neither here or there, Vaccaros is an extraordinary place! Make sure to tip! The counter help are in college and ballin' on a budget. Additionally, the place is usually always boppin', so be patient as they are doing their absolute best!

Oh! And their Brownie Lovers Sundae...

So I went to the hunt valley location because it is close to me. The first time I ever went to this one & it was TERRIBLE! Very unprofessional! I asked for 2 scoops of ice cream with small cannolis ontology. What I got was NOT what I asked for & the girl laughed at me!!!!! She had another girl make it. But it still wasn’t what I asked for. I paid $20 for a mess that I didn’t ask for as a customer!! Then they had no ice! I told the girl I always get this in the curry location & she responded with “yeah we don’t do much like they do” WILL NEVER GO...
