This was my first day experiencing this place. We did a local fundraiser here sponsoring my school, so I felt compelled to give them not one, but two chances. For lunch, I ordered a salad in which I asked them to add grilled chicken and to leave off both the black olives and green peppers. When I received my salad I had NO chicken and LOADS of black olives and green peppers. Fast forward to tonight. Called in my order around 4pm for a 5pm pick up. Changed my mind about pick up time, called back and changed it to 6pm. When I entered, the very curt and sardonic cashier asked me for my phone #. I told her I was never asked for a # on the phone. Her retort, "well how am I supposed to find your order?" I gave her my name and she said, "that doesn't help me much." I'm sorry, but I work in the restaurant business and this is NOT a response you give to a customer. She then proceeded to read all the order's names behind her, none of which were mind and made it seem like my fault that the person answering the phone didn't ask for my #. Finally, the manager came out. I thought this would turn out better, but alas, it was the same. He told me that they don't take orders without a # so I must be mistaken. I assured him I was not, that nobody in two phone calls asked for a #. He said, "then we don't have your order." When I gave him the name of the person I spoke to, he looked surprised and asked her if she remembered my call. She did and wouldn't you know it, my order was right behind them the entire time. He finally semi-apologized to me saying that everyone is supposed to get phone #s and that a guy in the back musta "slipped up." Fine...but what poor customer service. Do they really think that I was trying to be difficult, that I didn't want my pizza and that I enjoyed going back and forth about it? All would have been a lot easier if they took the time to ask what I ordered, who I spoke to, etc instead of assuming I was in the wrong. This topped with the incorrect salad order...I do NOT recommend this establishment...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I had the pleasure of trying Vocelli Pizza, and we are thoroughly impressed with the quality and service. The Pepperoni Garlic Rolls were outstanding, rivaling the deliciousness of Little Caesars' Crazy Puffs. The Pepperoni Pizza was equally impressive, boasting a flavorful profile with a tangy sauce and good amount of cheese that perfectly complemented the toppings.
While the Cinnamon Rolls were satisfactory, they did not stand out as exceptional. However, they still served as a pleasant dessert option.
The customer service at Vocelli Pizza was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the efficiency and teamwork displayed when I picked up my order. It was refreshing to see a well-coordinated team working together seamlessly. Overall, my experience was highly positive, and I look forward to...
Read moreAll of these reviewers are right. The pizza here, most of the time, is the best around Ellicott City. The cheese is the best, they use lots of good olive oil, the crust is the best, and the toppings are too. I buy pizzas here almost every week since they opened. The problem I have once every four or five pizzas here is, the manager/part-owner, is not always here, and his assistant manager is not always there either. Because pizza, is a fast food item, you get new, minimum wage, read, "really don't care," turn over of employees, making the pizzas in the back, and over-charging in the front on a regular basis. The same as happens to every Pizza joint I every patronized. I always check before I pay. When I don't like what I see, they remake it, or I leave; either way one of the guys above hears about...
