I've been coming to this location for a few years, and while the staff is generally professional and polite, I’ve experienced consistent issues with mobile orders. Whether it’s sloppy presentation or missing ingredients, something always seems to go wrong, which prompted me to start ordering in person.
Even with these challenges, I never had a customer service issue—until last week. I encountered the nastiest, most unpleasant staff member I’ve ever dealt with. From the moment I approached the counter, she was argumentative, aggressive, and rude, even muttering unpleasant words before addressing me. She was going back and forth with the gentleman ahead of me, and I feel she may have taken her frustration out on me, which is still completely inexcusable.
She added items to my bowl I didn’t ask for, and when I calmly pointed it out, she dismissed it. She claimed they were out of certain items, but when a gentleman brought those items to the front, she became visibly angry and argumentative when others, including myself, requested them. Her behavior was condescending, combative, and completely unprofessional.
Unfortunately, the supervisor on shift was no better—unprofessional and lacking the skills to de-escalate the situation. The supervisor even refused to provide the employee's name when I asked.
For weeks, I have been trying to get in touch with the manager to address this very upsetting situation, but I’ve had no luck. This has now brought me to leave this review as a warning. Be aware of this location and avoid it if you can. If you see this particular employee working, I strongly recommend walking out immediately. It’s clear that this location has no accountability for its staff’s behavior, and this experience has left me incredibly...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience at this location. I placed an order through the mobile app with instructions as to how I’d like my meal (hold the onions and tomatoes). My order should have been ready at 3:40. I arrive around 3:47pm to give them ample time to make my order. The establishment is empty, maybe a total of 2-3 people in line ordering. I walk to the counter to request my order and they tell me it isn’t ready. So I wait for the staff to service everyone else in line before getting to my order. Finally get my order that was suppose to be ready at 3:40 at about 3:51 and the order is incorrect. I notice immediately once I get to the car that it wasn’t what I wanted so I walk back in. I’m obviously a little frustrated at this point since now I’ll have to wait again. I approach the front counter and told the cook that I said not to include onions or tomatoes and he says “it didn’t say that on the order.” So I pull up my mobile order in my email and show him clearly in the instructions where it says no tomatoes or onions. He scoffs and says “what you want me to make it again?” Obviously I didn’t come back in here to just say my order is wrong. I didn’t plan on eating this tacos for awhile and the onions and tomatoes tend to leave a strange taste so I omit them all together. The order was recompleted and still wrong. I’ve wasted too much time at this establishment for a simple meal. I left feedback online and on a survey and have gotten no response for my poor experience. Shame on you guys! I was a pleasant customer who just wanted to make sure my food was to my liking. Your staff is rude and inconsiderate and can’t even apologize for making the wrong order...
Read moreThe food is fine and employees good natured, I want to start with that. But the Website and ordering are awful. Let me explain.
First, the staff are not able to input orders for delivery - they do not have the infrastructure, so your phone call is directed from an actual human towards their online site. Second, because of this, Qdoba charges you a SEVENTEEN DOLLAR DIGITAL CONVENIENCE FEE (really $16.49, but, I'm rounding up here). Are you serious? The business puts up a roadblock to order and then charges you to order? This is the same sort of scammy behavior you see when booking hotels: room for $150 a night! oh wait, just kidding, those rooms aren't actually available, but here's a nice one for $215...
Qdoba, you've lost my business due to this highway robbery, and I hope you lose additional business too. An inflexible system that puts the costs of the system back on the customer just isn't sustainable. Having and labeling a 'digital convenience' fee for something like being able to order your food and have it delivered (there was already a $2.99 delivery fee) is not, in fact, 'convenient'. It's the basis of your business and a good business facilitates sales of its products. Let's just consider then that for the privilege of trying to buy your products, I was going to have to spend $19.48 before ordering anything. That's already the price of two burritos from Qdoba!
I don't often leave internet reviews, but something about this just...
