Fast Wok — Restaurant in Ellicott City

For take-out, this is the best of the five local "Chinese" restaurants. They have three or four tables in the restaurant, but, almost all their business is take-out. Until about 2009, they used more meat and sea food than they have since. The food is too sweet for our taste, but we are from out West, so, to us, Marylanders only have two spices, sugar and salt. Once a week or so, some scam artists from Baltimore stand outside this Chinese restaurant and the Pizza restaurant next door and solicit donations for their, scam "Boy and Girls organization, or Wrestling Team", or what ever they are using that day. None exist. The kids they had gotten to do the job, have told me, they have not been paid for weeks, even though "he promised to pay them every day." They don't have an organization, nonprofit or otherwise and they don't have a nonprofit license. I know this because they disappear every time I mention calling to Police to have a look at their Non-Profit Organization license. or the Rite Aid store managers let they know they are calling the Police to check them out. So, buy the Chinese food, it is still the best in the 40-29 intersection area, but don't give crooked, ex-cons outside begging for...

The food here is great. Unauthentic Chinese food. The seasoning is on point and the chow mien and fried rice are delicious. They put way too much oil and after I instruct them to put less it is still a hefty amount of oil. My other complaint is that they undercooked the meat which led me to get food poisoning. I understand with these establishments that it may not be very sanitary. The prices are pretty reasonable and I suggest the beef fried rice which I my favorite...

The BEST, THE BEST DELICIOUS Food, Cooked Perfectly ALL the time. Been coming here for a long time and NEVER had any problems. I mostly get the Orange Chicken with rice. Sometimes get the Beef, Broccoli and Rice or General Tso's Chicken with rice. Very clean Restaurant with EXCELLENT SERVICE, Great Prices. and most of ALL GREAT DELICIOUS FOOD.
