The food is your typical fast food. You get what you expect. Saying that, the management is very lacking and rude. I placed a mobile order today, went to the drive thru and was parked because they just received my order. Ok, no problem there. Then a guy comes out saying that there was an issue and the payment didn't go through. Odd, it says paid on the app, which I showed him. I then went a step further and checked my bank account and it was there as a pending charge which means it went through. I showed this to him as well. He said ok, give me a moment to look further into this. Understanding that things happen, I was ok with this. Here is where it went downhill. About 5 minutes later he comes back out with a different customer's receipt to show me what a paid receipt looks like. I told him that I understand there seems to be an issue with their POS system, but I showed that it has been taken from my account. He continues to argue with me. He asks me to open the app again to show him the order marked paid. I open the app, pull up the history and he sees that the status is still "pending". He tells me it is pending because the payment did not go through. I then opened the receipt and showed him it says paid and that the "pending" status is because it was not completed on their end. I then walk into the store with him to try to figure this out and he continues to argue with me. He then says he will call his boss. Fine, I am waiting and at this point I am getting mad that I cannot just get the food that I clearly paid for. After another 5 minutes of him on the phone (and a good 20 minutes total) he says that his boss said he can't give me the food. I was completely shocked and at this point got angry. They refused to give me the food that I paid for. Then as I am walking out the door to cancel my order, the guy, who happens to be the manager, says that if he gives me the food, it will come out of his pocket. I know that is a lie as I have worked in fast food and management. If it is not a lie, then shame on Wendy's. Oh and the kicker, the order was a total $15.90. Read moreManager Huges of wendy's discriminates against black people. Allow me to articulate: Today 5/23/2024, I ventured into the 11030 viers mills road wendy's location for breakfast. I was thirsty so I requested a curtesy cup to have a drink as I waited for my order. As I stood by a table and chair just about to have a seat, manager Huges approached me with 2 words; "Get Out." I was very shocked and replied; " Wow that is very rude of you, I am a paying customer waiting on my order." He then responds "By stealing drinks?" I replied "Why do you give curtesy cups to customers if you're going to accuse them of stealing drinks?" He then proceeds to call the police after I received my breakfast, sat down, and started eating. The police arrived and escorted me out because it is technically private property. The police however supported my position, and encouraged me to call corporate, leave a review, etc, because they figured it more than likely has happened before. I come directly to the Google reviews to see how other customers get treated here at this location, and I see that I am not alone. Many others have had to deal with rudeness and have been mistreated by management at this wendys. What happened here today is just another sad reminder that my dark skin will cause certain people to treat me bad and accuse me of stealing even when I spent/ invested my hard honest earned money into their business. I'll take my business elsewhere, and to all other minorities that have been racially profiled by manager Huges of wendy's just remember without our investments, he can't keep the lights on to keep racially terrorizing us. Read moreI went to this restaurant on sep'16 at 9 pm (last night), with my whole family and 2 kids under 8 , the name of the cashier who serve us was LEONARDO, he took our order and than he went to help to the cook with the fries, without wearing gloves, he was grabbing the fries with his hands, after touching the customer cash, which is unhealthy, also all the cooks were not using gloves , just one lady who looks hispanic, (I will report this to the county for an inspection of this place, cuase if they don't even wear gloves, who knows what else going on there) , well when I we sit to eat , a frequent customer came to talk with us and let us know that we can ask for free icecream shake for the kids, which she just did a few seconds ago, so I went to talk to the same cashier LEONARDO and ask him if it is true that they have free icecream for the kids, or something that is free for the kids, so he got so disrespectful and look at his coworker next to him and with a sarcastic way said "Nothing in this place is for free" and he was kind of laughing and joking about that , so I came back to my table with my familiy , and we were about to leave because we were over, the same cashier LEONARDO, was calling to us from the cashier and asking us if we still want the icecream , and I said no, and he said it is free, I don't knwo if he was being sarcastic or he felt bad for refusing us the icecream before, because as I know it is free for kids,,, Managers on this place should take care of the people they have in this place, and I hope a visit from the county health department (which I will report) can help them to solve the...
