Husband went to the drive thru to pick up a mobile order. He ordered a medium coke without ice and a small lemonade in addition to other food items. While at the pick up window, as they're handing him his coke, the BK employee says "Here's your coke without ice. Did you want ice in your lemonade?" Husband says "Yes." The BK employee hands him the lemonade but it doesn't have ice.
I was on the phone with my husband and heard the entire exchange between them. Husband says to me "I guess they misunderstood because you're getting lemonade without ice." I didn't mind, I can always add ice at home if I need it.
When he gets home, I add a straw to the regular small size beverage cup and take a sip....... It's NOT lemonade, it's plain water! Husband checks the mobile order, sees that it says 'lemonade' and decides to go right back.
When he gets there, he goes inside with the cup of water. He is approached by the same person who handed him the order at the drive up window. Husband opens the cup and asks the BK employee if that looks like lemonade. The employee says "We're out of lemonade."....... WHAAAAT?? Another employee came over to see what was going on. Husband showed him the cup and explained the confusion. This guy didn't seem phased by the sneaky switch either!!!
So the employees at the Marysville BK took it upon themselves to substitute WATER for lemonade because they were OUT of lemonade????? They thought nothing of cheating us out of the cost of a lemonade vs a FREE cup of water. Sure, it doesn't cost much but it's the principle!!
The one employee did offer to get another type of beverage to replace the missing lemonade....... No apology was offered.
What's next? They run out of burger patties but keep selling Whoppers, just putting condiments and cheese on a bun and wrapping them...
Read moreBeing the only person in line to order should have meant we were served quickly...WELL, After a 20 minute wait for 3 sandwiches, one fry, and a single order of chicken fries, we got our food....And, the disappointment continued. Our chicken sandwiches were burnt, as were the chicken fries. The french fries were cold. They gave us 2 replacement fries, but we had no idea the awful that was waiting. My daughter's spicy chicken had been dunked in grease. The bun was SOAKED in grease, and the wrapper was, too. Both original chickens were burnt and old, rubbery B.S. with a tiny spot of mayo. There were beard hairs on the chicken fries, and for $22.22 it should have been a lot better than the nightmare we were given. There was one other order while we waited, about 10 minutes after they had us pull forward, and they brought both of our orders out together. They had a single bag of food. The employee had the nerve to lie and say there was not enough people working, yet I saw at least 5 people. Like I said, we were the sole order.. The dining room is closed.. I am calling corporate. I was unfortunately not given a receipt but my credit card statement will be enough, I am sure....
Read moreWent through drive through. I ordered four things. Three where messed up. Forgot the cheese on the OCS, I asked for no lettuce, seemed to have extra. Forgot my BBQ sauce for the nuggets. I called to maybe get a meal next time I'm out that way. The angry lady on the phone was very rude. Horrible customer service. I asked to replace the whole order, but grumpy only said she would replace what was messed up. My total was 14ish dollars. It's not about the money it's about the principal of following orders. Who ever picked up the phone when I called hung up on me. She needs retraining. This was Thursday...
