Pitiful.
I ordered through GrubHub at 1230PM, understanding it was around lunchtime. The app said 25-30 mins, understandable.
I got a notification 10 mins later that it's ready for pick-up, but still planned to leave around 1PM. I left, but was stuck in traffic and didn't get to Jersy Mikes till about 130PM.
They had a line of people, I tried looking for a "Mobile Order" spot, but did not see one. So I waited by the register until one of the workers was available. One of them looked at me and I asked where Mobile Orders were to grab. They asked the name, I told them and it was through GrubHub. They looked behind themself and said they didn't see it, pulled a list of receipts and said "It doesn't look like it's ready, we've been slammed. But I'll put this over there so they can work on it."
I continued to wait and another worker came up, asked what my name was, I told them and they said "It's going to be over 15 mins.. we're busy. Do you want a refund?" I said Yes, I'm on my lunchbreak from work and the app said my order was ready.
They proceeded to look at the register, located my order and then said "Yeah I can't do anything, you'll need to contact GrubHub to cancel and get a refund.."
I did call GrubHub and got that situated, but I'm fumed. How do you put an online order in "Ready" status.. not even work on it, then tell the person they'll need to WAIT even longer to have their order completed, when that order was placed an hour ago?!...

Finally after being 20 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready, I see it with my name on the bag. It Sat in the back of the table and there was no designated area for pick ups. I went through the whole line and they said can I help you. I said I have an online pick up order. They are horrible. No process at all. I request my money back on the corporate website. We will see. I've been to this location many times over the last 5 years. And something is going on. There was an employee outside in front of the store taking a break with what looked like friends while the single employee was swamped inside. I've been in business for over 20 years. The owner needs to do something fast. I would like for the owner to reach out and refund my money and not corporate. I'm sure this is a franchise. Read moreMarysville's Jersey Mike's Subs. It's a great place for a watch while they build it quick meal. The cheese and meats are sliced fresh, on the spot for each sub sandwich made. The ingredients used are of a high quality. I noticed they don't have that plastic or canned taste to them. They taste fresh. And thats a nice change. They are not prepackaged like Subway. In Marysville a lot of us quit going to Subway anyway. The owner of the 3 local stores here. Doesn't honor many of the Subway coupons or tv ads. Subway can be summed up in one word. Frustrating. At Jersey Mike's you have a choice of a hot or cold sub. They also can build a wrap instead of using bread. Also a real big plus if your on a Atkins type of diet. You can get a bowl. All the the tasty meats, cheeses and such. Just minus the hi carb bread. They also carry prepackaged chips and cookies. But not the usually standard ones everyone else has.
