This was a horrible experience. We had gone in to get 2 rippin chicken meals and 2-1 gallon sweet teas to go. Keep in mind the gallon tea comes in a pouch for easy transport. There were 4 people in the dining area already eating so we figured it would move along fairly quick....WRONG. We were told they have no chicken ready and that it would be a 15 minute wait, but it would be fresh. Ok, no big deal right? Well when our # is FINALLY called, disappointment set in with a quickness. Our rippin chicken was the size of a thigh. My husband's was scorching hot, and mine was so cold I could pick it up in my hand without worry. My husband then went up to the counter to get our gallons of tea, and he was handed 8 fountain cups and told they had no pouches. WTH? Could have said that 30 minutes ago. To have the $ put back on our debit apparently was out of the question. So my husband starts to fill these cups and they run out if tea. This is easily a 2 gallon container. We had to wait to get more. Fine not a big deal. They bring out more and we begin to fill the cups ( only 5 more to go). Into filling the 2nd of 5 cups left, they RUN OUT OF TEA. We wait. Now we r beyond angry with this whole situation. I then hear a girl with a major attitude say, omg I just filled that up how much do the think they need? I'll tell ya little girl, 2 GALLONS, bought and paid in full. We ended up filling the rest of the cups with un-sweetened tea ( which tasted HORRIBLE). No amount of sugar could fix that train wreck. The manager on duty then came over to my husband and I and said next time we r in to remind her of this incident and she will make it right....No thank you. We will never be going...

Went in 2 days ago, and was charged $5.63 for a 5 piece tenders, tenders ONLY. No issues. I go in yesterday and the gal working couldnt figure out how to ring it up and tried charging for the price of a meal/combo. When i asked why it was more expensive, she said they changed their prices yesterday.

I went in today, and asked if they had had a price change at all in the last 48 hours. And was told no, they hadnt had any, recently. I asked why I was being overcharged yesterday, and somebody who I was not talking to. Jumped in and started arguing with me, that she did not overcharge me the day before, that the prices went up the day before, and that their new Tender prices were much more expensive.

She did all of this, after another associate already verified that the prices had not been changed. Because she could not figure out how to properly ring my order up, she just tried to BS me. And provided horrible service.

Horrible customer service, with horrible attitudes. When the person running the cash register, can't even ring a 5 piece tender order up right. It's pretty concerning for how they run their business.

Even if they messed up previously, all they would have had to do. Was say " I'm sorry about last time, that was a mistake on our end. Those are not our actual prices." But at no point did they try to do this. Instead they sat there and argued that the prices had changed, standing in the middle of the store. Continuing to tell me I was wrong.

It's a shame a business that just opened. Is already providing such horrible...

This location opened recently and we expected quality food and service. We were greatly dissatisfied. All of the employees are very young, which is fine, but they are also severely undertrained. It was not busy when we came in, but every table was dirty, garbages were full, sweet tea was empty, floors were greasy, no paper towels in the restrooms. It was a mess. It took awhile to get our food, but atleast the chicken was hot and fresh. As we waited we observed the staff. The young man packaging food sneezed halfway into his elbow, did not wash after, did not wear gloves when putting food into the bags or on the trays. Then he actually ate a little crumb that had fallen onto the counter!! The “manager” was complaining she was getting shaky because she hadn’t eaten, so she grabbed food and ate it before we got our food. The whole time we were there she was not wearing an apron. She was behind the counter and out front on the phone. There were other employees apparently on breaks, they were wearing their aprons outside, and to the restroom, etc. GROSS!! Then an employee came in the front wearing an apron, carrying Pizza Hut. She set it on the front counter and said “food is here”! She then grabbed a piece of pizza and ate it while walking thru the lobby and out the front door. Anyone who has ever worked in the food industry knows all of the red flags pointed out above. This franchise owner seriously needs to step up and bring in a real management team for retraining! We will not be coming to this...

High standards in food quality!!! I observed a worker in there this morning checking the temperature of all of the chicken with the proper thermometer. As I have been a customer as well as a delivery agent for this Popeye's location, I have always been treated superbly by staff. Now I know most of the items on the menu are deep fried in separate oil to keep from cross tasting of items, but as with ALL deep frying establishments, they all use the first in first out method to sell, so at times you may receive an order that has sat under heat lamp and results in a sub-par dining experience. The tip here? You can request any item from ANY RESTAURANT to be cooked fresh, so that is a caveat emptor for any foodie. Luckily, I have never experienced that issue at this location. I plan to be a patron of their for life, and glad they keep such quality standards in place here.

There are two local locations. This one and another one just up in Smokey Point by Hobby Lobby. Same owner, different prices. If you get a two piece meal and ask for it to be all white meat, you’ll end up secretly with an additional $1 charge. The Smokey Point location doesn’t charge for the difference. I unknowingly paid the $1 and finally noticed it. I brought it to the manager’s attention and she refused to offer the same pricing as the other location. I asked for my money back since I hadn’t gotten the food yet. She went back, had me wait 3 minutes, then came back, gave me the food, a dollar bill and told me to never come back. Very rude. I’ve never returned and continue to frequent the Smokey Point location. Better wait staff also. Fresher food too!

Not impressed. Ordered chicken nuggets. Got some thing that looked like they tore the chicken into strong cheese. Asked about nuts in recipe since it is southern food usually having nuts in there or fried in peanut oil. Cashier had to call manager who didn't know. Was told that probably not but if I was worried I should eat somewhere else. Not impressed with their lack of knowledge. Biscuits were good. Mac and cheese side was decent. Decor looks all orange and yellow right out of the 70's. Very dated. Final thing that summed up the whole thing was only utensils were SPORKS!! I thought those went into history as a failed experiment decades ago.
