The 5 star review below this rather long statement, is from my first review when I had lunch today. HOWEVER, I returned later at about 6pm to get a soda. I ordered a diet Pepsi, the guy then after I told him what I wanted, he asked me if I wanted diet Coke or Pepsi. I looked at him strangely because I SPECIFICALLY said "Diet Pepsi" obviously he didnt even listen to me. Which I don't understand, seeing they were not busy AT ALL when I was being waited on. The sign above said the soda cost $3.05 - he then told me I owed him $3.95 I looked at him funny and then told him that $ .90 is an awful lot of tax for something that cost $3.05. He replied, "well we have to pay the taxes and I'm only an employee". Well with that attitude, he should be an "EX employee". Anyway, he did something with the cash register (like re-rung something else and then said it was now $3.62...I still said that is way too much tax on $3.05 and by this time I was so mad that I wanted to throw the box of straws at him, but instead I handed him $4.00. I think he realized the mistake he made and handed me back a dollar. He was very rude and did not say thank you, sorry I made a mistake or acknowledge that he was even wrong. I understand now why there were such bad reviews, it has nothing to do with the food, INSTEAD I believe it is an employee issue and the "employees" that are causing these awful reviews need to be let go and hire some new ones that actually want the job and have some people skills. So....with all that said the review from lunch today still stands but for this second visit today I have to go back and give it a 1 star. I would give it a zero if I could. Sooooo...... First time coming here (from the Tri-Cities, east side of the state). I am visiting my best friend and we decided to eat here before shopping at the outlet mall. I wasn't sure what to order then spotted a pizza that looked delicious. I asked what kind it was. It was a chicken, bacon (canadian bacon), ranch with Alfredo sauce. OMG...it was amazing, and the crust was absolutely perfect the bottom had the best crunch and the edge was fluffy with a little crunch to it. The older gentleman that waited on us was very nice, funny and joked with us. (he could have been the owner, idk) Very pleasant ☺️ I will definitely come back if I get up this way again. Thank you❣️I don't understand the poor reviews I read here. I have to totally disagree with them. Loved this place!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience given the food safety issues involved. My pregnant roommate and I stopped by this location for a quick bite. She picked up a slice of pizza described as “chicken, tomato, red onion.” After paying, she added some Parmesan cheese from the self-serve shaker — only to realize it was full of visible mold. She politely brought it to the staff’s attention. Instead of apologizing or addressing the issue responsibly, the staff member silently took the shaker and turned away. I asked if she could be given the second remaining slice instead, considering the health concern. He took her contaminated slice — which had now been handled by multiple people and had moldy Parmesan on it — and put it back in the display case to be sold again. Then he handed her the other slice, looking visibly irritated that we had said anything at all. The original, unsafe slice was still in the display case when we left. I’ve spent over 15 years in the restaurant industry, including owning and managing my own restaurants. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially when it concerns food safety and customer health. It’s deeply concerning that this establishment is serving potentially hazardous food and showing zero regard for proper hygiene or handling procedures. If you’re considering this place based on recent positive reviews, be aware that many appear to be solicited from local mall employees or casual visitors. Read the detailed, authentic reviews — and take them seriously. For your own health and safety, I strongly recommend staying away from this establishment.

“They Should Pay You to Eat This Pizza.” Avoid at All Costs – Minus Five Out of Five I visited Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen at Tulalip last evening, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. • I ordered two slices of pizza: Pepperoni with mushroom and Chicken with sausage. Both were absolutely pathetic – dry, hard, and tasteless. Honestly, I would rate them Minus (-5)/5 each. The moment you bite into them, you realize they’re not worth eating at all. • Price: Each slice cost around $7.50–8 USD, making the total over $16. For that price, you would expect at least decent quality, but these slices were so bad that even animals wouldn’t want to eat them. • Staff & Service: The person serving was impolite, uninterested, and gave the impression he didn’t want to be there. I even spoke to the owner directly, and when I told him how bad the pizza was, his response was basically, “I don’t care.” That attitude says everything. • Cleanliness & Quality: The kitchen area did not look clean. Their so-called “Fresh Italian Kitchen” pizzas are anything but fresh. They just take pre-made slices, shove them in the oven, and serve them at premium prices. Overall Rating: Minus (-5)/5 Terrible food, unfriendly staff, careless owner, overpriced, and unhygienic kitchen. Honestly, they should be paying people to eat this pizza. Definitely a place to avoid unless the management, staff, and food quality go through a complete change. Image attached

I recently went to Villa Italian Kitchen, lured by the promise of a delightful Italian meal. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but delightful. The main disappointment stemmed from their pizza, which was a culinary letdown. The taste was remarkably poor, overshadowed by an overwhelming saltiness that dominated every bite. This wasn't just a slight misstep in seasoning; it was a fundamental flaw that ruined the entire dish. Moreover, the prices at Villa Italian Kitchen were exorbitant, especially when weighed against the quality of food served. I understand that quality ingredients and culinary skills warrant a higher price tag, but what I received was a dish that seemed to lack both. It's disheartening to pay premium prices for food that doesn't deliver in taste or quality. Additionally, the ambiance and service, which might have compensated for the lackluster meal, were nothing out of the ordinary. The staff, while not unfriendly, did not go out of their way to enhance our dining experience. The environment was passable but did little to evoke the charming Italian culinary experience I had anticipated. In conclusion, my visit to Villa Italian Kitchen was deeply disappointing. From the poorly executed, overly salty pizza to the unjustifiable prices, it was an experience I would not want to repeat or recommend. There are numerous options for Italian dining where the cost and quality are in harmony, but sadly, Villa Italian Kitchen is not...
