Poke Pekoe is my absolute FAVE poke place around here (& that’s something to say bc this IS the PNW after all)! The food is consistently fantastic, fresh and delicious. It’s spendy, but I get what I pay for and have never been disappointed with the quality or taste. I’m sad that the panda packaging of old is gone, but I am so happy Poke Pekoe made it through covid that I’ll take less flashy packaging to continue enjoying their phenomenal fresh sashimi, shrimp, crab salad, spicy scallops and perfectly made bubble tea 😻. The dining experience at this restaurant was absolutely disappointing. Firstly, the attitude of the waitstaff made me feel unwelcome, lacking any warmth or enthusiasm. While the dishes on the menu seemed promising, the actual flavors were a letdown. I ordered a few items, and not only was the wait time excessively long, but the service was incredibly slow, testing my patience. To make matters worse, the taste of the dishes was indescribable, some even bordering on being terrible and difficult to swallow.
