Let me start by saying I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, but when one truly deserves it, I find it necessary so a change can hopefully be made. My family and I love Zaxby’s! But this location (411 location) needs major help!! After numerous bad experiences at this location several months back, we decided to give it one more go and we were sorely disappointed! We normally order the family pack strips meal and this time we added loaded fries. After waiting in drive thru for 45 minutes we were once again served unfresh, room temperature food (but hey, at least they got my order correct this time…). Since I was still in parking lot I tried going inside (door locked) so went back through drive thru (thank God only one car ahead of me this time) to let them know that they could have their order back and I just wanted a refund at this point. It’s now 9PM and I’ve got two kids and a husband getting hangry at the house waiting on their food. (Let me just say that the Domino’s emergency pizza came in very handy at this time LOL). I was thinking that asking this shouldn’t be a big deal since they knew how long I waited in line but one of the two girls at the window literally snapped back at me saying she saw the food come out fresh and straight to me at the window. Knowing this was false, I said that they could take their food back and see for themselves the temp is not even warm (most likely now cold) so she asked me to wait until she hears from her manager on this. This took about another 10 minutes of waiting!!!! Unacceptable!!! Another employee (unfriendly, mind you) finally came to me and said that her manager said to take the food back and give a refund to all except the loaded fries portion. Even though that didn’t make any sense, I said “Ok then please give me a fresh order of loaded fries!” Well that didn’t set well with her so she said she would just give me a refund on all of it. Seriously!?! Why didn’t you do that to begin with!?! In a nutshell, avoid this location!!! Read moreDelicious food! Friendly staff! Immaculate facilities! This was my first visit to Zaxbys Maryville. However, certainly not a stranger to Zaxbys, as I have visited several other locations in the past. The Maryville location is located approximately a half mile off Hwy 411, near the Maryville Walmart Supercenter. The look, decor, floor plan and vibe is identical to the other Zaxbys locations I have visited. The dining room and ordering counter is extremely clean. As is the case with every Zaxbys visited, I have always enjoyed fresh, hot, delicious food. On this particular visit I tried the Buffalo Blue Zalad. My Zalad (salad) was really tasty; packed with lots of tasty veggies and Buffalo Style chicken. Every bite had an explosion of flavor!(the Zalad is not spicy hot, but definitely has a "zing" !) My Zalad included two pieces of their famous Texas toast. My friend enjoyed the Zax Pack meal and found the chicken delicious. She rarely eats fries, but she really enjoyed the crisp crinkle fries and the Cole slaw accompanying her chicken. Of course, I am the obligatory slow one when ordering. Read moreI, as a DoorDash driver, had a delivery that had 3 of the large drinks. (The cups are pretty big, unstable, and awkward in the drink carrier.) I asked the team member for an extra drink carrier to make the drinks more stable for the 10 min drive I had to deliver to the customer. I was denied a drink carrier without paying for one. I thought she was kidding at first, so I kind of paused, but she was serious. I had no money on me, other than my credit card. From the moment I walked in, I could feel my presence as a delivery driver was unwanted there, and I feel like I wasn't treated like a customer, although I frequent this restaurant personally. This is ridiculous. As a former member of management, I would never require payment for a delivery driver to deliver items safely to the customer. You can tell this place is not very customer oriented. They would rather risk drinks not making it to the customer than to lose $1 (probably less than that,) for a piece of cardboard.
