The Daily Scoop in downtown Mason is one of those charming little gems that makes our small-town life sweeterā€”literally. My daughter, my fiancĆ©, and I love to stop by as often as possible, and it never disappoints. They have an impressive variety of fun, creative flavors that keep things interesting every visit. (My daughter is loyal to her favoriteā€”the chocolate waffle coneā€”and I canā€™t blame her, itā€™s fantastic.) The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the folks behind the counter are always friendly, making the experience as delightful as the ice cream itself. If youā€™re in Mason and craving a treat, The Daily Scoop is absolutely worth the stop. #BDH

This ice cream shop is open year round and has and old school nostalgic/ historic vibe to it. There's always some amazingly done chalk artwork, too. Old news articles of town are displayed in frames on the walls, and there is an old arcade game you and a friend or kiddos can play for just a quarter each. If you're not in the mood for ice cream, they also serve sandwiches and other treats as well šŸ˜‹

We absolutely love The Daily Scoop! This is a local gem. They have so many flavors, including the classics as well as unique and interesting choices. Sundaes, razzles, and the new cinnamon roll ice cream sandwich are some of our favorites. In addition to the great ice cream and even some sandwiches, the staff and ownership are super friendly and the store is always clean and well decorated. Just incredible all around!

Nice ice cream shop that appropriately has that hometown shop vibe. The ice cream selection is small yet surprisingly decent. The staff were so very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Also worth noting that the shop owner is a local author and the trilogy he wrote sits on display, ready to purchase.

On my most recent visit I ordered the razzle, their version of a blizzard. I'm a big fan of this kind of treat and have ordered it from large chains and small mom and pop shops. This was one of the best. I ordered two mix-ins, and there wasn't a spoonful I had that lacked in cookie dough or brownie bits. Every. Single. Spoonful. This is rare. They don't skimp. The Family owner local business is a real Diamond in the Mason Community. There are several Ice Cream shops in Mason, but this one is far and away the star attraction. They are the one and only HARD Ice Cream parlor. Featuring locally made, MSU Dairy ice cream. The flavors are to die for, and the portion and prices are INSANE! $10 will get Ice cream for 6- 8 people. The owner is very nice, and everything is clean and fresh. They even offer indoor air conditioned seating. Hands down the best all around ice cream for miles. Forget a Blizzard, forget a McFlurry, forget Culver's Mix-ins. The Daily Scoop is the ONLY place that takes the time to make sure all of the toppings you choose are mixed throughout the entire cup.

You won't get halfway through a Razzle to find only vanilla ice cream. The toppings go ALLLLL THE WAY to the bottom, as they should!

To top it all off, the soft serve ice cream is so dang creamy and delicious. It's better than any chain or competitor around.

The service is top-notch, too! I can't sing their praise any louder. The Daily Scoop is the only ice cream shop worth breaking my diet for.
