The Vault Deli — Restaurant in Mason

I was craving a good cornedbeef sandwich. I don't like mines with krout. I prefer it with coleslaw. I got on line last night. Found this place. And prepared myself to go today!!!!! It is a cute quaint little shop. When I came in. I was acknowledged immediately by 2 wonderful warm young people. I place my order. This extremely delicious stuffed pepper soup. I believe the sandwich was the Brooklyn maybe??? Essentially it was a Reubens with coleslaw. I did not know they served it hot. And they were kind enough to remake it for me. I felt really bad. But they were so sweet. I also had a side of potato salad. Everything was delicious. It hit the spot. Was exactly what I needed. I will most definitely be back to try more things. The customer service alone is worth another trip. The food being wonderful was a bonus. Lol.. I read reviews. And I must say. I am definitely a quality over quantity person. But the sandwich was more than enough for me. I will be eating more of it later tonight. If I had to pick 1 thing that could have been better. I'd say there should have been more coleslaw. It was such a tiny amount. But it was still delicious. I found my sandwich. Now I'm going to explore more of their soups and sides. If you stop by to order. And you have preference of hot or cold. I've been patronizing The Vault Deli since its opening. The sandwiches there are wonderful as is the coleslaw and potato salad. They use top quality ingredients for their sandwiches and it shows in the final product. One thing I love is the consistency of their output. They also sell craft beers, craft soda and wines.

The negatives are the prices, the speed of service and limited seating on the premises. Prices at The Vault have gone up considerably since Covid as they have at restaurants everywhere. The service is polite and the employees are helpful. Since each order is made to order it takes a little longer to get your food. It is well worth the wait. I'm willing to wait a little longer for great quality. Since I usually get my food to go seating isn't an issue for me.

The Vault is in an old bank building. The vault is still in the building and is used as a walk in wine area where bottles of wine are displayed for sale. I'm no wine connoisseur but the few bottles I bought there have been great.

Just a couple days ago, I called and ordered a sandwich from The Vault deli. I was worried that they weren’t going to be able to do that because I had not been able to pay for my food till I went to go pick it up, but they had no problem with it. They had even dropped off food to me around the corner in previous situations where I wasn’t able to walk over in the middle of my work shift. When I tell you, the customer service is always on point and the food has never tasted better than before. It’s always so good and they are always so sweet there. This time, they decided to put a smiley face on the carton of food, and I have never felt so appreciated by somebody who works in customer service.
