Just happened to be driving through downtown Mason and noticed the small little brewery. Decided to check out their menu and then stopped in to grab a few drinks. The place was pretty small but had a good amount of usable sitting space and a pretty large bar. The menu was on a full screen TV to see exactly what they had on tap they also had a beer cooler to grab pre-canned to go beers. I went for the canned option and cashed out everyone was super nice and helpful and directed me towards other products that they had to sell. When I left they had a whole outside seating area with those igloos that you can sit in the winter along with picnic tables in the back. I honestly can't wait to go back here and check this place out when I have a little bit more time but from what I've seen so far this looks like a really cool place.

My first visit here though I've walked past it and admired the revelers from afar (poor me! LOL). On this visit the outside seating was in full swing. It was Gay Pride Month and I think they were gearing up got drag trivia or something. My pal and I sat inside. IPAs are listed on these large posters found all around the bar. You can try various beverages before you commit. I think they do drink flights if you wish. I went with a fruit cider. So tasty and quite an alcohol kick. I assume they have food though I didn't partake. Sports are on various TV screens. They even sell merch if you're into it. Love this place. Gonna go back.

My wife's July 2017 review from Facebook:

"Always a great time! Easily my favorite patio and brewery in the area. What a great atmosphere and delicious beer! Even when they didn't have enough of my favorite for a mug last night (Raspberry Wheat 😫) they gave me the rest in a little flight mug. We are mug members and will definitely be renewing our memberships when they are up in the winter!"

Updated today, May 2021:

"I am so incredibly disappointed in my experience at Bad tonight. I came here to leave a review but my only option was to update my old one. I wanted to leave my old review to establish my relationship with Bad. My husband and I used to visit Bad at least weekly with family. It was to the point where we were friends with the bartenders, knowing their personal lives and vice versa. We continued to frequent Bad, even when we moved to a town with a brewery in walking distance of our house, due to the relationships we formed with the staff and the experiences we had there. Bad was one of the first places we supported with take out at the beginning of the pandemic because we didn't want them to go under.

Due to life circumstances and the pandemic, we have not visited as often over the last couple of years. We decided to visit today but did not stay for drinks. We walked in and my husband started checking in, per the instructions on the sign in front of the counter. Mid check-in, the bartender asked how she could help us, told us inside and out was full and that she would add us to the waitlist, no big deal.

We walked outside for about 2 min and got a text saying our table was ready. We were shown to a table that was empty in there earlier, that had a sign with a 4 person minimum sign on it. My husband said "We saw a table outside with only 2 seats?" to which the bartender replied "That's saved for someone else". It seemed like a reasonable question, since there were only 2 of us and we were seated at a 4 person table. She walked away, to the other side of the bar to fill some drinks. She very loudly said to another employee "I just love when people point tables out to me that are reserved for somebody else". At which point we walked out.

We understand that help is hard to find right now but please suggest to your employees that if they would like to speak disparagingly about your patrons, to do so in a more private area. Not in a public area, so loudly, that we could hear her across a...

I went in here yesterday around lunch time. They had a sign outside with a list of food specials. We went in and there was no hostess station, no staff to direct us, no signs indicating we could seat ourselves. We stood there confused and tried asking a bartender where to sit but we were ignored. Eventually a man on a ladder doing work, gave us some direction which was nice. We decided to sit out on the patio, a server told us the best option is to get our beers at the bar first and then go out back. The bartender ignored us so we just sat outside. Upon going back there, all the chairs were stacked up except for one table. There was one other couple outside as well. We sat down and waited about 5 minutes or so. The server came outside, completely ignored us and walked into the food truck out back and started talking with the people inside. We got up and left. It was the most confusing place I have ever been to and the service was horrible. As for the food and drink, I cant really give that a rating because we left before we even had...

I went there with a group of friends for my husband's birthday and rented an igloo. The guy at the bar acted like he couldn't be bothered with me and kept waiting on other customers. It took 15 minutes to get signed in and when i asked if we would get a waitress to come out and take drink orders, he said only if it wasn't busy at the bar, otherwise he'd check on us once an hour. Yeah, no. No one checked on us until the end. A super nice girl came and got us more drinks and that was the only time in 2 1/2 hours.(otherwise this rating would have been less) To the mgr.... you are missing out big time. If you would have had a waitress come and check on us, you not only would have sold more drinks, you could have sold food too. The igloo is a great idea, but if i wanted to run up and down the stairs for my own drinks. I could have done that on my deck or in my own back yard. There was about 10 people in the bar on Sunday afternoon at 5 so it's not like you were busy. Great concept but the service was...
