Mostly went smooth. Went through drive thru to order frosties. Only issue was they ran out of chocolate and couldn't complete order and had to make 1 vanilla. That's not my issue though. 1 of them they didn't have but about 1/2 of the cup worth and handed me a half filled frosty.
Not to be rude but I didn't pay for half. I asked them to add some vanilla to make it right (not a big deal for me to just mix it up, not as chocolate flavor but we can work with that), and he seemed annoyed.
I get that I had a large frosty order (2 large 2 small) and they're a popular item, but don't get annoyed because I paid for and you only half filled so i asked for it to be fixed.
I wasn't rude, didn't make a stink, just asked to have it topped off to how it would be if they had been able to make as usual.
Simple request, I paid for an item, not half. Other than that, no issue. Keep in mind, I don't buy food from Wendy's just frosty every now and then, but I've not had any issue otherwise when we've stopped through.
And I drive over 20min out of my way to this location because the mint hill location (closest to me) is horrible. So that should tell you that I appreciate them and their service. They had a line wrapped around the building, and places are short staffed (plus product shortages etc). So I take all that into consideration and I appreciate they're trying their best.
Also, I understand it was a bit late (9:35) when I got there after going to mint hill (9) and being turned away because they claimed they didn't have any frosties.
Aside from the little frosty issue (more about the attitude than anything, but principle of paying for and not getting is a bit annoying), everything was fine.

Read moreThis is far the worst drive-thru experience I've ever had. At 6:00 pm, I ordered a Dave's Double (no tomato, no ketchup, no mayo) meal, a frostee and a cheddar & bacon potato. When I went up to pay, the older lady took my card and paid and gave back my card. The younger lady behind her stared at me acting like "what do you want, are you going to pay"? I told her I already paid and was waiting on my food. Younger lady gave me a bag, my drink and my frosty.
When I pulled to eat my food in the parking lot: Not customized burger, no baked potato, no spoon, no fork, no straw, no receipt.... I tried to go inside, but like everyone else on this board says, the doors were locked. No sign saying "Dining room/Store lobby closed, Drive-thru only"... No sign on the doors at all...
So, I had to go back in the drive thru line and told the older lady that I had a $17 order didn't receive my cheddar & bacon potato and no utensils and no straw. She had me clarify what I ordered and told her I didn't receive my potato and utensils. She acted like there was no such thing as a cheddar & bacon potato.
Finally, when I went up to the window the second time, they gave me the potato and I asked for the straw, spoon and utensils and the young lady said "they are all in there".... Coming to find out, there was only the cheddar & bacon potato and a fork/knife set.... No straw, no spoon for my frosty. I didn't know you were supposed to eat your frosty with a fork........

On this trip when they handed the bags to my mother in law through the drive through window she asked if everything was in the bag. They said yes. She looked through the bag and told them the chili was missing. They rudely insisted the chili was in the bag. She told them it most definitely was not. They gave her the chili, with an attitude of disgust and irritation. She then drove to our house with the food. I had asked my mother in law for an Apple Pecan Chicken Salad. She'd never ordered one before and assumed the salad came with everything already on it. When she got to our house I realized there was no dressing or pecans in the bag (which come in their own packaging outside the salad container). One would think, of all the elements to include in an order for an Apple Pecan Chicken Salad, that THE PECANS would need to be included AND THE SALAD DRESSING!!!! This is not the first, time this has happened. In fact it happens more often than not at this location. If I'd been there I would have already assumed they forgot to put those two items in the bag, as usual. But my mother in law assumed they would at the very least provide the ITEMS INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE. AND THEY SHOULD...EVERY TIME!!!!! You should never have to ask for items that are included in the item but ordered!!!! Also the fries and burgers everyone else...
