Which Wich — Restaurant in Matthews

I placed an online order today at 11:00 to be picked up at 12:00 giving them PLENTY of time to get the order done. When I arrived and went to the pick up counter, no one acknowledged me so I finally spoke up and said I was there to pick up an online order. The manager barely made eye contact and just said "we don't have the man power to do online orders, you need to get in line." Ummm, well, someone took the order and my money, so I just waited for him to continue. When he didn't say any more, I asked if that means I need to give the order again, and he got huffy and went to look for my order. He found the bag with my order written on it, but it wasn't even in line to be started yet. I ended up standing in the line and the sweet lady at the register moved my ticket into be started. When they finally called my name, it was only one of the sandwiches. I told him I ordered two and he seemed annoyed. I told him maybe they shouldn't have the online or mobile ordering as an option if they don't have the man power and his response was, "we have to consider the customers in the store." So, am I not a customer...

2 Stars because historically I love Which Wich. This is the 4th I've been to while the other 3 have gone out of business. It use to be you could order a sandwich or salad and customize it to your liking. Black olives today! 2 types of Onions tomorrow! There were plentiful choices. I seriously use to claim that Which Wich was one of the best salad joints in the city. Now however you can no long make your own salad, you are limited to a few uninspiring choices. As you can see from the bag I ordered the Wicked (5 meats and 3 cheeses) but I can no longer pick which cheeses and it only comes with lettuce, Red onions and tomato's. (which oddly are the 3 ingredients I never order on a Which Wich salad). I'll say it again, it was a one star experience but I gave them a 2 for nostalgia because of how good...

First time visiting! I went in to place an order to go and the lady at the register was super helpful as I have not been in here before. I just got a turkey sandwich to go. She was very kind and friendly. After they called my name to pick up the order the other worker handed me the sub. I said thank you and she said nothing. She was not the most pleasant person. The place smells like grease as soon as you walk in because it’s an open grill. I personally do not like to eat in places like that, but they do have an outside patio you can sit on.

Now the sandwich was wonderful. I got it hot and thought it was a fair price. If they had a drive thru, I would eat here more. If you looking for good subs this...
