Do not dine here. You are better off at BK or CPK. Food was fine. Predictable, reliable, just fine. The poor, nay non-existant service is why I'm leaving such a poor review. The sign said seat yourself so we did. We saw the QR code on the table and pulled up the menu. We realized pretty quickly it was order and pay online, however we had questions about the menu and 2 small requests. When ordering, there is space for requests (food allergies and such) but they only allow for a certain number of characters. So, we couldn't complete our requests.
We sat there for more than 20 min waiting for a server to greet us and no one ever came. I finally waived down a server to help us. I was immediately met with annoyance.
This server was a middle aged woman with blonde hair pulled into a ponytail, and bangs. She wore black glasses on her head. We were clearly seated in her section.
She asked if we were comfortable ordering online but I explained we had a question about the menu and couldn't fully type our requests when we tried to order. She, clearly annoyed, agreed to take our order the traditional way. While taking our order she was very short with us and rude. When I food was ready she delivered it and that was it. She never checked on us again. She didn't ask how the food was. She didn't ask if we needed anything else. Nothing.
We watched this woman check on every other table MULTIPLE times. She would literally go down the line of booths, skip our table and go to the next (we were seated in the middle of her section). It was clearly deliberate. She retaliated our request for in person ordering with lack of service.
After we ate, she came to clear our plates and we requested the check. Once again, we watched her deliver checks to other tables, hand out drinks and chat with other diners. We sat there waiting to pay for another 20+ min. It was the only time we've ever considered not paying for a meal and just walking out. But we didn't. She finally dropped off our check. We paid. We left. Normally my husband and I are generous tippers. We've both worked service jobs. We know how hard it can be. But that was the worst tip we've ever left and...
Read moreCame in for a quick bite to eat as well as a few cocktails before my flight. From the beginning the bartender seemed to be off. Instead of greeting us, she simply asked what are you getting. I then said one moment but can l have a menu. She then threw the menu on the bar in front of us. Once she gave us the menus she went back to take care of other patrons which she was very attentive to. She then preceded to come back over to us, we were asking questions about the variety's of liquors that they had to offer she seemed very bothered & wanted nothing to do with us. I then saw that they had some inserts for some drinks that they had new there. I asked her could I see one of the inserts she then just threw the inserts in front of me. She then came back ano asked again did we want something. My partner stated that she wanted the mango margarita, & I told her that I would like a Palomino. But I wanted it with a different alcohol. She then started making the mango margarito & instead of her using the Patron which it stated on the recipe she used the well tequila. Because I had saw her make it asked her which Tequila she used and would we still get charged the premium price because she did not use the original stated alcohol. She had such a NASTY attitude she hen grabbed the drink & threw it out very nasty & rudely. I then just got up and left. I'm not for sure if it was her drew on face that had her in a mood but, the way that she treated us was completely rude & unnecessary. We will literally travel to the next terminal just to not get treated like this again! This was very unwarranted behavior and unnecessary for her to be treating us like this. Hawaii was EXCELLENT until we came to this place!!!! SHE DEFINITELY NEED A REALITY CHECK! You do not treat people like this and expect people to come back!!! BEWARE EVERYONE SHE IS GIVING YOU WELL LIQUORS FOR THE PRICE OF PREMIUM LIQUORS. STAY FAR AWAY...
Read moreThe service here was absolutely terrible, ending our otherwise wonderful vacation on a sour note. It was, without a doubt, some of the worst service we’ve ever experienced.
The bartender with darker hair was incredibly rude to my husband when he slightly mispronounced the name of a beer. She clearly understood what he meant but decided to be condescending instead of helpful. When I ordered a large glass of wine, I was snapped at with, ‘We have a 6 and 9-ounce pour.’ Anyone in the industry knows that a ‘large’ typically means 9 ounces—it was unnecessarily rude.
We felt like an inconvenience just being there. At around 9:40 p.m., we were sharply informed we needed to order immediately because the kitchen was closing at 10 p.m. My husband ordered the $22 wings, but I was undecided. I was fine not ordering if the kitchen closed. However, at 9:51 p.m., another server aggressively asked if I was trying to order food, exclaiming that the kitchen was about to close and I’d be lucky to get anything. The reaction was shocking and completely uncalled for—I was simply looking at the menu.
When my husband’s food arrived, it came with multiple condiments he didn’t request. As he was finishing his meal, and we both still had full drinks, the bartender told us and others at the bar that we needed to fill out our receipts because she had to go on break.
This bartender and server were, hands down, the most unpleasant people I’ve ever encountered in the service industry—and I’ve worked in customer service for over 20 years. Next time we fly through this airport, I’d rather go hungry and stay sober than step foot in this...
