Stopped here on our trip home from NOLA to get a snack and beverages for our long drive. I also wanted to add to my Starbucks travel series coffee mug collection. Fast forward to a stopover in KC, while getting our luggage out, the Arkansas mug fell out and shattered. Now, fast forward one more time….the next day during the second leg of our trip, I was on the phone first with Starbucks customer service and then this particular Starbucks location. I was told by customer service that they could not send me a new mug(I offered to pay for another one and send a prepaid shipping box)…I was told they could not send me an new one I would have to be in that exact store personally to buy another one. Well…going back another 300 miles wasn’t a possibility…obviously. They gave me a refund for my original purchase, although nice and appreciated, I really only wanted the mug. I phoned this Starbucks location in hopes for a replacement mug…which I wanted to pay for…after all, it wasn’t their fault it fell out of the car and broke…so I spoke with REBECCA FRENCH…please know as busy as Starbucks locations are, Rebecca took the time to listen to my story and she without hesitation said “we will just send you a new mug”. I was ready to pay and when we got home send her a prepaid box. She told me no, we will just send it to you. She was sweet and understanding and was willing to help me fulfill my silly mug quest. Loooonnnnngggg story short…the customer relations this manager has is not the norm these days. I am sure many people lie and scam their way into free things, so it must be difficult to believe the general public most days. I am grateful for her willingness to listen and willingness to trust me. THANK YOU Rebecca!! Please stop into this store and show some gratitude to this woman and the humanness she...
Read moreI come here often, maybe not as often as I used to but I was asking God if I should go to Starbucks or the park. He said Starbucks, I almost went to the park but I was obedient. Went to the ladies room, and came out to order what I like. I stood there for what seem quite sometime but it felt like forever. No one greeted me when I came through the door, and as I stood there they walked past me as if they didn’t see me. I may not be the tallest thing alive but all of the workers literally looked my direction and didn’t say a thing to me. A young lady with short black hair finally asked me “do you need anything” I politely placed my belongings on the counter as stated I would like to purchase these please. My facial expression pretty much said what I needed to say without saying anything. I completed my purchase and thanked her and sat down. Observing two other people who walked in they were instantly greeted with a good morning how are you, me? I received silence. What happened to the genuineness of good wholesome service, making sure to greet every person when they walk through the door no matter how slammed you may be, everyone should be acknowledged upon arrival. My hope is that the young adults who worked on today’s shift become more mindful of their surroundings and intentionally serve rather than do it because they feel they have to. I enjoy coming here and have had good experiences but this one was not so good today. Maybe tomorrow will be a...
Read moreThe Manager Kaylin needs to go back to training if she wants to be a manager. I go here almost every day I’ve never had a problem until today. I asked for whip cream there was no whip cream, I asked her to put some on top she stated idk if it’s enough room then proceeded to put some one there. She went wrong with telling a customer that.
Secondly I asked what type of drink that was because it didn’t look how it was supposed to look. She stated what was in the drink, i told her that was wrong as I’m talking she walks always and the window closes. Now if you make a drink the wrong way you don’t pour out half and then proceed to add oat milk on top, you re-make the drink.
I spend too much money here to be treated as such. You all need to choose managers wisely her employees are awesome, I can’t say the same about her. It’s not hard to make a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso 4 pumps of brown sugar 4 pumps of toasted vanilla add...
