I’ve been coming to this Diabella’s for two years now. Every experience until today has been more than pleasant. The sub maker greeted my girlfriend and I, but my girlfriend said she was not ready to order. I walked up and said “I’m ready” and the worker proceeded to roll her eyes and walk over to the other worker and whisper something in her ear. She then came back and took my order in a very dry manner, as if there was an issue with me and my girlfriend. We were nothing but courteous when we walked up. She couldn’t hide that she had an attitude, whatever it was about. She finished making our subs we and paid at the register. We then asked for a manager. As we were complaining about the girl’s attitude to the manager the three workers gathered together laughing and staring at us. The manager insured us that she would talk to the girl, but her attitude was so off putting that we probably won’t be returning to that store. I hope this is not the typical employee for Diabella’s because her customer service skills were extremely lacking. You guys are sure to lose customers at an alarming rate if that is how they are treated in your stores. I hope you guys do better in the hiring process going forward and set a higher standard for the type of...
Read moreI went here and had a manager make my sub, and ate around 7-8pm. She was cleaning shelves and whatnot behind the counter before making my sandwich and I believe she used the same gloves. I woke up the next day with a fever of 103 F. I let the store manager know and she was very defensive of her manager and never said sorry or showed any remorse or compassion towards me being sick. She couldn't even tell from her cameras if her manager changed gloves, she mentioned not being able to see that "corner" but she didn't make my sub in a corner??? They have a long counter in the middle of the restaurant....? She boasted how her manager is "food safety approved" and "they go through a lot of gloves, I doubt she would have done that." Let me tell you something - I work in a doctors office with 9 different doctors, mistakes do happen, certified or not. Every once in a while, you might want to give your customer the benefit of the doubt or maybe upgrade your cameras to prove otherwise. You can draw your own conclusions, just pay attention to make sure they change...
Read moreFirst time eating here. Solid experience. The sub I had was the tuna with veggies added and that had to be the best sub I've had in ages! Made with care and definitely was not skimped on the toppings. The employees were friendly and answered the questions I initially had without any hesitation. I also got the oatmeal raisin cookie with my meal and again, so good! And the cookie was also so soft. I'll definitely be back for more in the future!
Edit: Came back again. Still amazing. Staff is still friendly. Cookies are still to die for. 🥰
2nd edit; 11/13/22: I'm sad to report today was lacking. I got the Italian meatball sub. What came out was barely room temp, soggy (I ate there so no time was spent waiting to eat), and I can't exactly say what was off about it, but something in the flavor of the sauce/meatballs was off. It tasted old or like it was the last of a batch that was sitting out. Overall huge...
