Went with group friends for casual dinner out.My first time there. Very casual bar atmosphere with dining area tucked inside another separated area..Not crowded at all. Food was NOT what I expected for bar fare. Yes it had usual Burgers, Wings and such. But the menu was delightful. Unexpected selections served freshly prepared to order. Our group had several different items.. Fresh plate sized salads containing fresh veggies, salad crisp and we'll washed , grilled chicken plump and flavorful arranged on top with fresh bread.Definatley would not I.ow trying cut calories by ordering a salad by taste explosion of flavors. Hamburger ( only mediocre meal as was pemade patty..if handmade patty would knocked it out park) Pasta with side fresh ample sized salad and bread. Sauce was enough and very flavorful robust and satisfying. Special was a steak..yup a steak, juicy prepared perfectly. To temperature. Potato and. A fresh side salad with bread. The steak was impressive and rivaled a steak houses. Chicken Paramesean...a treat. Finding chicken parm even done right unless your in an old school Italian restaurant is rare. But finding one with a reasonable price that is Not only cooked to perfection it was prepared with old school love. Pounded thin to perfection, breaded just enough to cover chicken and fried golden but not greasy this real chicken breast was perfection.pasta and a fresh side salad and bread accompanied this dish. Not one of us left hungry disappointed. An absolute treat tucked into a bar. I will return for another enjoyable visit with friends over great food...EXCELLENT fast efficient service...

So, long story short, don't expect any kind of service from the bartender if you come on a Saturday evening. I started not to say anything but after a lot of thought I felt like this needs to be said.

My wife and I have visited this place on several occasions usually during the week and had great service from Maggie. However this past Saturday was a complete disaster.

We came in to have a burger and beer and after arriving and sitting at a table in the bar area we waited.......and waited ........ and waited. Finally after sitting and watching the bartender who we later learned was Kate socializing with what appears to be her friends for almost 15 minutes we finally flagged a guy walking by asking him if there was a waitress for this area. He stopped immediately and apologized asking what we wanted to drink and then proceeded to go behind the bar and grab our drinks himself. Coming back he apologized and asked if we wanted something to eat and took our order. Our food was later brought out by someone else and the whole time the bartender continued to socialize with the two or three people at the bar that appeared to be friends.

Only after our food was brought out did she finally decide to tear herself away from her social group and grace her with her presence, and even this interaction seemed to be a bother to her.

Guess I made a long story longer. Point is the bartender Kate is ok if you're in her social group. If you're not forget about getting any kind of...

Sadly, the food was not stellar.

I ordered the cobb salad with chicken breast and wings and a vodka club soda....

Friendly bar staff took my order and food was received in a timely manner.

The salad itself was a decent blend of all the usual suspects, but the chicken was flavorless and totally cold. The protein had no grill marks or seasoning and I kept cutting the pieces open to make sure it wasn't undercooked. Really unappealing and not appetizing at all. I ate the greens but left most of the chicken in the bowl. The wings were all flats. I assumed I would get a mix of drumsticks and flats. The flats were a little under cooked and lukewarm when they came out. I questioned why I received all flats and not a mix to the woman that took my order. She said, it's basically random. Ok.

The total with the $8 vodka drink came to almost $35. I left a 20% tip. $40 plus bucks later ....

Really disappointed in this experience as I wasn't even offered a glass of water...
