Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Mayfield Heights

Iam very upset with these people I have been wanting to go here for months with my sisters. We went today and the girl that was working there was very rude and kept shaking her head. I understand it was a little late but for her to not understand little kids behavior is beyond me. my sister has autism so she isn’t responsive she got mad and yelled at me to get her off the counter and then proceeded to roll her eyes and shake her head. I was disappointed and disgusted with the service I too have a family restaurant and we would NEVER do yell or show this type of behavior around little kids or to people in general. And then when I kindly asked to order coke because that is what my sister wanted she can’t know from rights to wrong but she still waited and was getting impatient because we waited for food and our dirks for 15 mins. as I was ordering coke she yelled at me in a snappy tone to stop and hold on. There was someone in the back too. And also when we ordered she slammed the receipt machine saying it’s not for us this made my sister very uncomfortable and she stared covering her eyes. While the lady rolled her eyes. She was very disrespectful to only me but my 5 year old sister with a disability. Iam very disappointed with this service I even downloaded the app to support but I do not recommend coming...

If you’re ordering a smoothie from this location, go ahead and throw the money away! I ordered online and received my food right away. The man making the smoothies was just moving around NOT making smoothies. I finally asked about my smoothie after 15 minutes and the guy never made it. One of the other workers pointed out that there were several smoothies that needed to be made and told him to “stop clearing out the screen so fast”. He then proceeded to make my smoothie incorrectly. When I refused to take it because it contained ingredients that I’m allergic to, he stated “Oh, I guess I should’ve read that.” He then made the smoothie incorrectly AGAIN. I asked him if it was correct and he said yes. I took one sip and knew that it was wrong. I threw it in the trash and left. He was texting on his cell phone and talking on the work landline phone the entire time I was waiting. His entire smoothie area was TRASHED and nothing about it seemed up to code. He was not cleaning the containers correctly either. He was sniffing ingredients to see what they were. Luckily I’m leaving Ohio in a few days and going back to the East Coast where Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations take pride in their work and provide EXCELLENT...

Went to the cafe to order 1 smoothie. There was 1 other person in the cafe. I waited over 30 minutes for the smoothie. The only reason it wasn't longer is because I kindly asked how much longer it would take. The person making the smoothies responded "sir I am doing the best I can" and proceeded to take my drink off the blender (it had been sitting for 10 minutes done) and pour it into the cup and hand it to me.

I completely understand that mobile orders that were coming in but I cant understand why it would take 30 minutes to make a smoothie, even with mobile orders coming in.

I wasn't going to write a review but what really blew my mind was the rudeness and lack of professionalism from the staff. The person making the hot food started going off about people making demands and bad attitudes. She was making a scene that I had kindly asked how much longer my drink would take... After 30 minutes!!

I know help is hard to come by but...
