Ordered steak fajitas and a side of the queso dip/sauce. When they brought the fajitas I asked them for more chips, it's important here to tell you my waitress didn't bring my fajitas, (for the queso dip) I also use the queso on the fajitas. I realized shortly that I had not gotten the queso. So I asked anther employee (the only one to make eye contact with me) if they would get it for me. I waited 10 minutes before starting to eat. I ate slowly hoping to get it or at least for someone to acknowledge my existence. Which never happened. So I just finished my fajitas, and waited. I knew they wouldn't for get me when it came time for payment. Another 10 minutes and my waitress returns, for the first time since she took my order, and asked if I wanted dessert. My response " NO I just want to get what I ordered." Long story short... We're sorry, we'll find out who did this and we'll discount your meal. The only good thing about my visit was the steak for the fajitas. It was real steak cut into thick strips and quite tender, not very thinly sliced tough steak. So if you want real steak fajitas this is your place just don't expect much when it comes to...
Read moreWas staying in Maysville for a work conference and this place was right next to the hotel. Stopped in for dinner and had to wait for a while to be seated even though the restaurant was not that busy. The place was dirty with the floors and the tables being covered with food, water from the condensation of the glasses, and other random bits of trash.
Ordered the chimichanga with beef and soon received the chips and salsa. Chips were very bland and not salted at all. Salsa was very sweet and say more like salsa ketchup. The chimichanga came with rice and beans but none of it seemed fresh or something that was actually made at the restaurant. The meat seemed like canned chili meat with the rice and beans also seemed from being from a prepared package of some kind. If you would have told me the food was microwaved then I would not doubt it at all. The chimichanga was not fried at all and was just oily and had no crisp to it.
The waitstaff was in no rush to clean the dirty restaurant and seemed like it was just a social gathering rather than a place of business.
Should have gone to Kroger and got a...
Read moreTook daughter there for her birthday! It ended up being a very late supper for us. We got there about 10pm they closed at 11pm so we didn't expect to much greatness from them. However, we were very wrong in our expectations! They were wonderful! Thr waitress, I don't recall her name, she was wonderful, very kind and sweet. The atmosphere altogether was great! Up until that night I hadn't atr much of anything as far as a regular whole meal in quite some time, but oh my oh my did I ever clean my plate there!! Everything was just as we had ordered it, unlike some other restaurant when there are more than 2 in a group, someone is going to hace a messed up order usually!! Not this place!! The food was wonderful and even had a margarita as well! Overall, the place was clean, welcoming, friendly, and well put together. I do want to add that I am NOT at all associated with anyone who works there or had any Association with Tumbleweed. I am giving such a high praise to this place because they actually do deserve it!! Thanks Tumbleweed for making my daughters birthday dinner a great one...
