Visited this location today 10-17-22, my experience was disappointing. When I was ordering I could see the cook was at the grill and you could see flame rising high as if he was grilling hamburger patties. I thought my burger is going to be delicious just by seeing that they were making the patties fresh. My order arrived and my burger was Cold. The cheese did not even melt the square shape of the cheese was still square and Cold. The meet was also cold and they bread seemed as the just removed it from the bag didn't even toast the bread. The Manager David brought out our order couldn't understand he saw the burger was cold and didn't take it back to cook for remake. I returned the meals to the manager David informed him the meal was cold and I just wanted my refund. He returned my money but he barely opened his mouth to say I'm sorry. He just didn't care about customer experience. The cooks are just putting on a SHOW with the flame at the grill. Making customers believe they are making fresh grilled patties. They are pretending they are just putting grease on the hot grill to make it flame so high, because the hamburger patties they brought out to me was made hours earlier.

Read moreI dropped in at DQ on 23st and Nolana. I had dinner alone that evening and wanted dessert. I chose the banana split. Three mounds of creamy, smooth, deliciousness, nestled between a banana that has been peeled and halved. Also, each mound has its own separate topping. There was a nice dice of Pineapple in this topping and very enjoyable. Unfortunately not the same for the Strawberry, and Chocolate. There was hardly any Strawberry topping and only one stingy slice in the whole thing. Same with the chocolate, this however ran to the bottom where I was able to retrieve it and enjoy. All in all, who in their right mind could say no to a D.Q. Sundae of any kind. Plus at DQ there are Blizzard's, Ice Cream Cones, and a selection of frozen desserts and Cakes. There is also a full menu of Burger options and another menu of meal combo's like Steak fingers, Tacos, and even fried fish and fries. Surely there is something for everyone. Lastly, Dairy Queen is in the fabric of South Texas and creates memories that will endure the test of time. Thank You D.Q for all you do. p.s. I went to prep rallies while in High School , they often were held at the D.Q in Mercedes...
Read moreI've been meaning to write this review since Saturday. Let me start by saying, the customer service I was given was SUPERB!! It's never easy going out with a small child. And for whatever reason my grandbaby was on his best behavior on this particular Sat. We've been to places where we get the eye roll or judgemental stares when he acts up. From both staff and other customers. The staff at this location though, made our dining experience that much sweeter. There has to have been something in the a/c to make my grandson be the best little guy he could be. But the staff was exceptionally kind. From the cashier, which I didn't get their name, who took our order with such ease. They talked to my grandbaby as a person too. He likes that. We were accommodated when I asked for extra items to share our icecream. The food was fresh & hot! And a young man who entered later on in our visit was walking around asking customers if they were doing alright. Literally the best dining experience by far! Keep up the good work. Plan on visiting in the future...
