I’m a huge fan of Japanese cheesecake and have tried it all over the country. I usually drive all the way to Brownsville just to get my fix from a little shop that specializes in them. Yesterday was my first visit to The Gelato Station, and although they were sold out of most items, I put in a pre-order for their Japanese cheesecake and the purple yam bread. While I was there, I grabbed a matcha bread and a cream bun—both were phenomenal, especially by Valley standards! Today, I picked up my pre-order, and I have to say the purple yam bread was exactly what I hoped for—soft, subtly sweet, and unique. The Japanese cheesecake, though, fell a bit flat for me in terms of flavor. As someone who eats a lot of Japanese cheesecake, I wouldn’t judge it based on this one alone—they’re usually much more flavorful. That said, the quality of everything else I’ve tried makes me want to come back and try more. I highly recommend their cream or custard buns—they’re delicious!

Very cool hidden little Japanese bakery, and the owners are super nice and sweet, just like their breads. This is my second time stopping by and both times I've loved what I got. First time I had the matcha bread loaf and it was really sweet and yummy. This time I got the purple sweet potato. It's a subtler pastry so if you don't have a big sweet tooth, I'd definitely recommend this one. I'm looking forward to trying the Japanese cheesecake next time.

Cute little spot! So many choices for favorable treats from gelato to Thai Milk Tea to breads to pastries. Crystal is awesome and her knowledge of all the items available is top notch. You must give this place a try!

Let me start by saying the customer service is the best ive had, very friendly and kind people.

The milk bread is DELICIOUS, the strawberry one is filled with jelly and TASTES SUPER GOOD. Nothing is near this level in the valley. I highly recommend trying these, a little pricy but good.

The drinks are really good as well, better than most of the boba places nearby, they make everything fresh in their store.

The cheesecake was okay, it just tasted like cheese. Its not bad, if it had more flavors (they might) i would say it could definitely be a contender for best product. It tastes wholesome, just not too much flavor. Still recommend to try it.

The other items on the menu look delicious, definitely have a returning customer. Will come back to try all of them. The best japanese style desserts currently in the...

They have such awesome pastries. I have tried most of their pastries. I get excited when they add a new pastry. My favorite pastry is probably the Melon bread. That's my moms favorite. She says its the best concha even though its not one but, I can see why she thinks that😂. I also ordered my mom a Japanese cheesecake for here birthday and it was amazing. Sadly since I moved away from the valley I can't get these pastries as often but, when I come down and visit I always try and make a trip to get these awesome pastries.

The owners are great and friendly as well. They are super receptive overall just an awesome experience when I talk to...
