Excellent store! Everyone has their own experience. I am personally the kind of person who has to see to believe. We are current customers and our loyalty is here. I have had my experiences with other petstores..from not being able to buy a fish because there is no one around.. to having to get another rewards card because our information is not in their system...like really?! We had to buy another one!!..oh well..maybe they got a new system right?...lol....regardless...there will be negative comments everywhere you go to. No matter what... you will see the good and the bad. The majority of the bad experiences i am reading are of pets bought after and they get sick and/or die. Think about it...they were doing fine under their care and once u took them...they suddenly got sick?! Its not like if they push you to take it so it can die with you!....your own negligence is reflected on that...Our first pet in this store was an african grey. We went in and my husband had really wanted one for years..he was 3 weeks old. We met with Emilio and he worked with us. We left a down payment and agreed to pay it off once we could take it home.... once it was 3 months. He kept us up to date as much as he could..he would care and nurture our bird in his own home...feeding him every 2 hours!. We would see the bird every day for the whole 3 months. Named him "Ashes". Next we were informed of other 2 african greys who arrived..Emilio agreed to send off their dna so we can know if they were female..we wanted a female. It turned out they were so Emilio worked with us so we could reserve our bird..again! Same thing...we would see "Ashlee" as much as we could..each time we were treated with respect. Ashlee kept growing.Emilio, Diana and the other staff would inform us of her changes .that said ALOT of them paying close attention to their animals. Until we brought her home. He even helped us sell our cage so we could get a bigger one. My daughter got a bunny & would ask to play with a puppy and was able to. About twice she was told.no..only because the puppy already had a long day with other people and they needed the puppy to rest..in which we understood. She was able to watch him rest through the glass window. Regarding the pictures...they are clearely NOT being abused.keep in mind people! The less stress you give the dogs..the better. We have two tanks at home. I have a 75 salt water gallon and my husband a 50 freshwater tank. I was taught how certain salt water fish are not good with corals..or how big my tank needed to be for certain fish. How i needed to acclimate them before introducing them to my tank. I was even given the acclimation kit!! I would be able to reserve a fish and pay it off within a week. I reserved a shark while it was still in its egg and was allowed to take it home after it hatched and after Tyler had started to feed it..he explained how they are born blind and he needed to make sure it is good to go before i took him home. Just like any other place.there WILL be bad reviews. Everyone needs to understand that the majority of the bad reviews are due to their own negligence and unexperience. I have gone to restaurants where the reviews claim its horrible food and bad service.and end up loving their food and leave a good tip. Regardless of the negativity ive seen and/or heard..this is the best pet store my family has been to. We are loyal customers and we love the staff!!! And about the review of them not being licensed...really?! How could they POSSIBLY have opened up or still be in business without it??? Lmao see what im saying?! Ignorants!! About the contracts.yess.THAT i agree.READ! .but that is everywhere though!! We are planning on getting a Camaleon next! Everyone remember this saying in which it says ALOT: " People can see you walking on water, and yet they will claim its because you can't swim"....if you understand it, you will see that it is all about bein real and understanding and being logical. Love u guys!!!!!! YOU HAVE OUR SUPPORT!!!! the good will always outweigh the bad!! -Diana,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly they ripped me off with their deceptive marketing strategies I went in for a light for my chameleon and they sold me a lamp mind you I should have read the box but I was being rushed out the door by the staff at the facility while I was paying I asked the employee if I could try the lamp to see if it was working correctly in order to prevent having to make another trip if it was defective he said it was guaranteed to work correctly if not I could exchange it so I went ahead and bought it and come to find out that the lamp did not have bulbs in it and the bulbs are 30 dollars extra so not wanting to pay extra I asked for a refund and I was told they dont accept refunds or exchanges because of bs covid 19 which has nothing to do with anything the employee sold me the lamp under the impression it had bulbs and was guaranteed to work if not I could get a refund then the manager told me I couldn't now under normal circumstances I'd say nothing but that is why I asked to try the lamp in the first place if I would have been permitted to do so I would have learned that it did not come with bulbs and I would not have went on and made the purchase in the first place so I was basically entrapped into making the purchase and come to find out that I was ripped off because now I'm stuck with a lamp with no bulbs that I cant return because somehow covid 19 said so . The receipt says returns can be made with original receipt on hand still .as for the management I'd say they are not useful one bit and by the way I had to inform them that their parrots were sick because they are so busy talking amongst themselves to realize the parrot is slumping over because he is sick because you have a tropical animal right under the ac vents now he is all congested and cant breathe probably has a fever . I'd say save your money and spend it somewhere else where you can be served by a knowledgeable staff and where they can help you by realizing that they made a mistake. And correcting it. you got me today but you loose in the long run because I wont shop their anymore and I will make this public to prevent anyone spending their honest hard earned money in a place that only cares for profit . Not customer service. Plus they also sold me dead crickets how you gonna charge for dead crickets are you serious? Are you trying to poison my chameleon my God this is low and unbecoming...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei went to this store and i bought a hedgehog MY hedgehog became very ill within a month so i went back to talk to the employees and to the man who made my purchase at first he gave me medicine which didnt work then i returned and he said that he and his co workers can nurture the animal but i would have to leave her there and they would call me in a few days to let me know the status of my pet. after 4 days i didnt get a call so i went back to the store myself and ask on the well being of my hedgie and they told me she had died. i was furious and asked for a refund and they refused and then they mention about store policy bullshit saying it was my fault my parents were also very very furious my father demanded a refund considering we spent $200 plus food and essentials for my hedgie and it was a complete waste! instead of giving our money back they gave us two parakeets and a hamster . TWO PARAKEETS AND A HAMSTER DO NOT EQUAL A $200 EXOTIC ANIMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ASKED AND DEMANDED FOR A NEW REPLACEMENT HEDGEHOG OR AT LEAST ANOTHER $200 EXOTIC ANIMAL LIKE A FERRET OR ONE OF THE MACCAWS. WORST PLACE TO EVER PURCHASE AN ANIMAL NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER SHOP HERE SERVICE IS AWFUL AND IM SURE THEIR ANIMALS ARE KILLED IF THEY RNT SOLD! AND IM SURE THEIR ANIMALS ARE IN POOR HEALTH CONDITION JUST AS MY HEDGEHOG WAS. IF YOU WANT A HEALTHY AND HAPPY ANIMAL ALWAYS GO TO A BREEDER. BREEDERS ACTUALLY RAISE AND NURTURE THEIR ANIMALS AND KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM THAN A PET STORE WHO GET THEIR ANIMALS FROM MILLS! I WISH I HAD BEEN MORE CAUTIOUS AND CAREFUL WITH MY PURCHASE IF I HAD KNOWN WHAT I KNOW NOW I WOULD STILL HAVE A HEALTHY AND WONDERFUL HEDGEHOG WITH...
