LA Crawfish — Restaurant in McAllen

I am so disappointed with this place. I placed an order over the phone and when my son went to pick it up they stated we never placed it. I tried calling to find out what happened and the phone was busy. They disregarded my son and he waited close to 45 min. and I had to tell him to leave because I couldn't get through. I think its sad that they ignored what happened and the food is not worth the wait. When I first placed my order I asked the girl taking my order what the difference was when it came to the naked crawfish because I did not want them breaded and she explained. I was looking to place it on the app but I didnt want to get the order wrong so I called just to be sure and on the app I was being charged $43 and over the phone it came out to $55. I asked my son to get off and clarify the prices and he was told the order was not placed. If you want to try a place go to Mr. Crabby's because LA Crawfish will say you didnt order. They really need to step up their customer service game. Oh and if you want to call me out on this I have the order I was trying to place on the app and all the phone...

I love Lacrawfish and me and my wife have been several times to the one in McAllen and most times it is awesome, great food , great taste, no problems. However this last time it was terrible. The taste was there it was very good but the crawfish were extremely small and way overcooked also the fried calamari had been fried balled up and the batter inside the ball was raw. I brought it up to the staff and they told me they could not do anything about the size of the crawfish and they couldn't give me my money back either. They did however give me some extra crawfish that were very small and so overcooked that they would fall apart while peeling them. I do commend them for that but it was still very frustrating and not worth the drive from Brownsville. It was very disappointing but I didn't make a scene cause I didn't want to be that guy in front of my wife. The only time I had a small problem was recently, when I ordered online - I set the time of pick up for around 6:15pm but they started making it the second I ordered it (around 4pm). They waited till 6 to call me that if I don't pick it up soon my food will get soggy - in which I was confused cause I put in a set time for it to be ready by ya know? I get there and she tells me it's been sitting there for hours already, so I'm like 💁🏽‍♀️ what, I put the time for 6:15pm and she checked the receipt, said she was sorry and said they'd refresh the rice because the rest should be good So they didn't remake my whole order (12ct shrimp - 1lb crawfish - magic Cajun rice) but just refreshed my Cajun rice - idk if that's a bad thing or not, I was just dying of hunger lol So yeah, I didn't think it'd be a big deal but when I got to my home, the food was subpar 🧐 so idk - they've done better before - next time I'll probably just order from a different LA Crawfish than...
